[Third Person POV]
The earth of Jaipur had been painted an exotic violet. It was the blood of Sebas Tian.
The battle between the Iron Butler and the universe's greatest predator had finally reached its inevitable conclusion. There was no more grand martial display. There was only the butchery.
Lying in the center of a miles-wide crater was what remained of Sebas Tian.
He had been reduced to a mangled, bleeding torso. His legs were gone, brutally sheared off above the knee, the severed arteries pulsing weak jets of purple blood into the dirt. The majestic draconic wings that had once sprouted from his back were violently torn out by the roots, leaving splintered collarbones protruding through his ruined flesh. His thick scales had been flayed from his body and the steaming muscle that had been exposed was twitching like the muscles of a dead animal.
Worst of all was the gaping hole in the center of his chest. His ribs were cracked open like a morbid cage and where his heart should have been there was nothing.
A faint flickering green aura clung to the horrific wound. Restoration. Sebas was burning the last dregs of his Ki to keep the blood loss at bay. The ability was sputtering like a dying candle, struggling to knit veins back together just to stave off death for however long it could.
Standing directly over him, casting an eclipsing shadow, was Thokk. The Battle Beast.
The alien warlord's white fur was matted in congealed red and purple gore. Torn chunks of Sebas's scales were wedged between the lion's teeth. Battle Beast exhaled, his massive chest heaving as his rough tongue swept lazily across his whiskers, licking the draconic blood from his snout.
He looked down at the broken butler. The manic yet joyful smile he had worn during the fight had melted away and in its place was a crushing existential disappointment. The curse of his existence.
"Is this it, Dragon?" Battle Beast rumbled, his voice vibrating through the crushed earth, dripping with venomous sorrow. "Is this all the fight you can offer me? I was foolish to expect anything from the likes of you. I felled you once, and this was no different."
Sebas's slitted eyes fluttered, his vision was swimming in a sea of dark spots. He couldn't even form the breath to speak.
"Last time we fought, I was swept away by a coward's trick," Battle Beast sneered, raising his blood-drenched foot and resting it heavily on Sebas's crushed chest, who was too weak to even express pain. "I thought of letting you crawl away today. To let you heal and grow, so you could entertain me again. But no. Just like all the others across this cursed galaxy, you were a waste of my time."
Battle Beast unhinged his jaw, revealing rows of razor-sharp, bloodstained fangs. Saliva mixed with gore dripped onto Sebas's face.
"I will finish this pathetic charade. I will eat you alive, dragon, and rid myself of this disappointment."
Battle Beast lunged down, his jaws snapping toward Sebas's exposed throat.
CRACK.
A sonic boom shattered the sound barrier with such violent force that it flattened the remaining ruins of the 'Pink City' in fine dust.
Before Battle Beast's teeth could even graze Sebas's flesh, a streak of blinding silver crossed the horizon.
Within that moment when Thokk was unguarded, a silver fist materialized directly under his chin.
The uppercut carried the momentum of a falling meteor, perfectly compressed into a single knuckle.
BAAAANG!
Battle Beast's jaw snapped shut with a sickening crunch of shattered bone. The unstoppable force lifted the nine-foot behemoth off the ground and launched him backwards. He was blasted away as a white blur skipping across the ruined subcontinent. In his wake, a trench was dug through the earth for a dozen miles until he crashed violently into the remnants of a mountain range.
The silence that followed was deafening.
Sebas coughed as blood sprayed from his lips and forced his heavy eyes open.
Standing between him and the horizon was a faceless figure of pristine silver and blue metal. The sunlight gleamed off the legendary corporate logo branded across his chest.
Sebas's pupils dilated in shock.
"Sir... Pepsi..." Sebas choked out, his voice barely a rasp. A cold dread suddenly seized the dying butler's heart. "If... if you are here... that means... Master..."
Before his delirious thoughts could fully settle in, the earth shook violently.
An earth-shaking roar erupted from the distant mountain range. The peak of the mountain exploded outward as Battle Beast launched himself back onto the battlefield, closing the five-mile gap in a single leap.
He crashed down fifty yards away, and the impact sunk the earth beneath him. His golden eyes were burning with fury that fueled his ever-growing power. The right side of his jaw was visibly dislocated, hanging at a grotesque angle. Battle Beast simply reached up, grabbed his own mandible, and violently snapped it back into place with a wet crunch.
"YOU!" Battle Beast roared, ripping his legendary battle mace from the dirt. "It was you! The metal insect from last time! You dare interfere with my hunt again?!"
"Sir Pepsi... flee..." Sebas wheezed, desperately trying to warn his friend. "He is... too strong..."
But Pepsi-Man did not move.
Sebas blinked, his failing eyes noticing something entirely new. Hanging around Pepsi-Man's neck was a thick silver chain link, feeling John's energy radiating off it.
As Battle Beast charged forward, his bloodlust suffocating the air, the chain suddenly lit up with a blinding white light.
The light was so intense and unnatural that Battle Beast actually stuttered mid-charge, shielding his eyes.
Pepsi-Man raised his hands, bringing his fists together in a strange hand sign completely uncharacteristic of his corporate branding.
"Pepsi… {Call to Arms}" the mascot's distorted voice rasped.
The atmosphere instantly plummeted below freezing. The ambient noise of the burning city was completely snuffed out, replaced by a buzzing silence.
From the shadows of the crater, something else began to stir. It was an overwhelming presence that existed entirely outside the boundaries of life, death, and reality.
A massive, liquid-black shadow expanded beneath Pepsi-Man's feet, swallowing the light around him like a black hole.
CLINK.
A metallic bell tolled from nowhere.
CLINK.
Rising slowly from the black abyss behind Pepsi-Man was a divine Dharma wheel, turning ominously in the air.
Sebas and Battle Beast both froze. Their warrior instincts were suddenly warning them.
This was not something that should exist. But that's where they were wrong.
This wasn't a 'something', but an 'it', and that 'it' had a name.
The Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General.
MAHORAGA.
|Legendary Familiar|
Jujutsu Kaisen - The most powerful Shikigami of the Ten Shadows. Mahoraga is armed with the sword of extermination that deals severe damage to unholy beings and has great physical stats. But its real strength is the ability to adapt to any and all phenomena it encounters, offensively or defensively, and it can also share these adaptations with the user. Adaptations fade over time or when unsummoned, but the knowledge learned and ways to utilise powers taught by the adaptation do not. The more complex a phenomenon is, the longer Mahoraga takes to adapt to it. The power of shikigami scales with your own energy levels.
Pepsi-Man looked down at the mutilated, half-eaten torso of Sebas Tian. He saw the only being in the entire universe who had treated him with respect from the very beginning, the first to call him a friend, and now bleeding out on the dirt.
The memory of Chicago flashed in his mind. He remembered watching Sebas sacrifice himself to the teleporter because he himself hadn't been strong enough to end the threat.
He had failed then, but he would not fail again.
White-hot rage ignited within his Pepsi core. The corporate curse that bound his vocal cords, the branding that forced him to only speak its name, warred violently against the sheer weight of his human soul.
Pepsi-Man's silver hands clenched and the metal of his faceplate strained as he pushed back against the cosmic restrictions of his existence, drawing upon the untamed rage of the summon to force the words from his nonexistent lips.
"Pe... Pe..." Pepsi-Man violently trembled, the silver chain around his neck, a gift from John's new Knighting ability, cracking under the strain. "POLYMERISATION!!!"
