Ok..so im getting ready for trick or treating with the party..suprisingly me and mike..we talked but once again were too mortified to look at eachother.

But im dressing as this bloody zombie girl in like a nurse costume. its not like revealing, the skirts like white and has fake blood on it and its knee length, i have a cool nurse shirt with it too, and im borrowing my moms old mary janes from when she was a child, not by choice. This costume is SO itchy.
max is dressing as a murder in this black suit with this weird mask and fake knife.
"ready to go?" i ask max, the bruise on my face was actually going well with my costume.
"you look like the nurses in hawkins hospital." she scoffs. I just shrug, and we head out to meet the group.
I see mike and we both avoid eye contact.
"hey guys! nice costume Nicole!" says dustin, while i notice max and lucas exchange glances, i give max a knowing look.

we have been to a few houses so far, and they actaully gave us alot of candy.

i decide to go and join them, mike scoffs as i come forward.
"theres the attitude. i was wondering where it went." i scoff back at mike.
"yea, cause you and your sister are ruining the best time of the year." mike mutters bitterly.
"thats a huge statement". i fire back, slightly offended.
"mhm, you know what? you deserved what happend to your face you bitch." he scoffs.. Oh gosh, i hated this feeling, i suddnely felt so mad. But we both turned around, will ahd vanished. And there were some highschoolers catcalling me. bitches.
"FUCK YOU!" i yell at some random catcaller.
"wheres will??" mike asks, looking scared for the first time. ever.
" i dunno!" i say, "lets go find him-". I start but mike has already ran in a random direction, i run to catch up with him and we both find will, sitting with his knees to his chest and looking terrified, as though he was stuck in a trance.
"WILL! are you OK!?" mike asks, pure worry in his eyes, now dustin, max and lucas have caught up with us.
Dustin and lucas look extremley scared. Me and max were just confused, mike helped will up.
"whats wrong with him..?" max asks, mike shoots her a glare.
"nothing, just go home."

why did will just zone out and why were the boys so..worried?

"and were the first to discover it! a new fucking species we could be famous!" says dustin with glee, the slimy thing chitters softly and stretches, something was moving inside it and it made my stomatch crawl..
"theres something moving in it", says max, i glance at will whos been silent the whole time.
"will, you alive?" u ask, he nods.
"it feels..cold". he says, i didnt know what to say i just shrugged.
dustin was talking on about how mr clarke might steal his disocvery,
"dustin no ones stealing your discovery! just tell mr clarke!" mike says with annoyance, i glance at the clock in the room.
oh shit. Billy drove off without us again! IM SO DEAD, and so is max.
"max, billy drove off..again." i say, feeling foreboding.
"oh shit! bye guys we have to go-", max says nervously, probaly knowing billy was going to beat one of our asses tonight..

He steps forward and throws a punch at maxes face, she stumbles back, clutching her cheek. On the verge of tears. He advances toward me and roughly throws me agisnt the wall, theres a loud thud and im actaully trying not to cry.
