CHAPTER 17:GUANG ZHAO
Guang Zhao, a True Immortal at the same stage as Taike, stood calmly in the sky. His gaze met Taike's, both locked in silent tension. Below and around them, Chi Ji Han and the other members of the Chi Clan hovered in the air, watching the confrontation unfold.
Chi Ji Han spoke with a cold tone, "That old shit reversed time. His entire clan was already destroyed… but this dog still arrived."
Chi Po smirked. "I never thought a low Dao-energy planet could produce a True Immortal."
One of the Chi Clan members stepped forward cautiously. "General Chi Po… may I ask something?"
Chi Po glanced at him. "Speak."
"What would happen… if they fought here? On this planet?"
Chi Po suddenly laughed, causing the others to turn toward him.
"If they clash here," he said, his voice filled with certainty, "even if they use 0 percent of their power, this entire planet—and all of us—would be erase. Their mere existence and aura alone could destroy everything below them."
"they are sealing their existence and presence. That's why we're still alive, and why this planet is not already destroyed."
He paused, his expression turning serious.
"I don't even want to comprehend the full extent of their power. Trying to understand something beyond your limits can erase your very existence. It's better to be silent than to understand the beyond… beyond."
At that moment, Guang Zhao acted.
He released countless invisible clones—undetectable and boundless—and sent them into the void. Their mission was to search Wu Ji Xing for any remaining beings, all without Taike noticing.
Chi Ji Han narrowed his eyes. "They've sealed their aura and power."
Then he scoffed. "That old fart may be a True Immortal, but in our city, he would only be a mere guard."
The Chi Clan members laughed.
Another member spoke, "I wonder… will Elder Taike summon his best friend?"
Chi Po shook his head. "No. He will only call for his ally if he is outnumbered—or if he knows he cannot win."
