CHAPTER 20:THE END OF THE LEGEND
Miezu Shen and Zurnhok rushed toward each other at full speed. Their fists collided, unleashing a terrifying shockwave that tore massive rifts across the domain. Space fractured, and the very structure of reality trembled under their overwhelming power.
Earlier, before the battle began, Miezu Shen had cast a single glance at the puppet containing Hao Chen. In that instant, the puppet vanished—sealed away within a hidden dimension by Miezu Shen.
Back to the battle—
Zurnhok launched a powerful kick toward Miezu Shen, but Miezu Shen swiftly dodged. In the next instant, Zurnhok teleported directly in front of him and unleashed a devastating punch.
"Die, old pig!" Zurnhok roared.
But just as his fist was about to land—
A thunderous voice echoed across the domain.
"Tsk."
Just one word.
The entire domain shattered instantly.
Miezu Shen and Zurnhok were reduced to a state worse than mortals. Their bodies collapsed under an invisible pressure as they coughed blood endlessly. Outside the domain, all beings engaged in battle were erased from existence without a trace.
Zurnhok slowly lifted his gaze toward the sky.
There, he saw a true immortal—at the False Eternity State, Third Stage of the True Immortal Realm.
His name was Kairo.
Kairo appeared as if formed from the stars themselves. His body radiated a faint cosmic glow, as though galaxies revolved within him. His eyes shone like collapsing stars—deep, endless, and unfathomable. His presence was calm, silent, and absolute, like the universe observing itself.
The moment Zurnhok fully looked at him, his eyes went blind. Blood flowed from his nose, his hearing vanished, his organs began to fail, and his heart nearly stopped.
As Miezu Shen and Zurnhok reached the brink of death—
Kairo reversed time.
In an instant, both were restored to their original condition, as if nothing had happened.
They immediately fell to their knees and bowed repeatedly.
"Thank you so much, Handsome Master!" Zurnhok shouted.
"No, no—Handsome God!" Miezu Shen quickly corrected. "Yes, yes, thank you so much, Handsome God!"
Kairo let out a soft laugh.
His voice was like a gentle wind—calm and pure, yet carrying absolute authority.
"Do not think this is free."
"Yes, My God! Yes, My God!" they both responded, bowing continuously.
"Stop it," Kairo said. "What will you offer me? Give it to me immediately."
Zurnhok stepped forward. "My God, this is my offering—an ancient Obsidian Blade."
Kairo gazed at the blade. For a brief moment, even his soul felt a sharp sting, as if the weapon contained something beyond comprehension. Yet his expression remained calm and unreadable.
"I will take it."
"It is my honor, My God!" Zurnhok said repeatedly.
He then glanced at Miezu Shen and whispered, "It's your turn, old pig."
Miezu Shen hesitated. His thoughts raced, but he had nothing of value left. With no other choice, he brought out the puppet containing Hao Chen.
"This… is my offering, My God."
Kairo raised an eyebrow. "Oh? A puppet? Are you playing with me?"
With a single word, Kairo unleashed crushing gravitational force. Miezu Shen was slammed into the ground, his face pressed into shattered earth as he coughed blood violently.
"I will explain, My God!" Miezu Shen struggled.
"Oh? Go on," Kairo said calmly.
Miezu Shen spoke quickly, desperate:
"This puppet contains a powerful soul—a cultivator with terrifying growth speed. He has destroyed countless clans and devoured existence itself. He is a traitor… a demon. That is why I sealed him. In just a few days, he broke through from Dao Establishment Perfected Stage to Dao Comprehension Advanced Stage."
Silence filled the space.
Zurnhok suddenly burst into laughter. "You really are a crazy old fool."
Miezu Shen turned toward Kairo—
But Kairo already knew the truth.
"You are lying."
In an instant, Kairo seized control of Miezu Shen's body, lifting him by the throat effortlessly.
"How dare you lie to me? A mere cell like you is not even worth my attention."
Zurnhok immediately bowed. "You foolish dog! How dare you lie to my God! Shame on you!"
Miezu Shen gasped desperately. "My God… I can do anything… just give me a chance to live… please…"
Kairo tilted his head slightly. "Oh? Anything… really?"
He released him.
Miezu Shen collapsed, coughing violently.
Kairo then turned his gaze toward the puppet.
With a single look—
It was destroyed.
Hao Chen's soul vanished from existence.
In his final moment, Hao Chen whispered within his mind:
Finally… the rest I was searching for…
At that moment, a voice echoed within his fading consciousness.
"I am sorry, my child… truly sorry. Wang Hao Chen… my son who never broke my rules. Rest now… my child."
And then—
Hao Chen disappeared completely.
Back in reality—
Kairo spoke calmly.
"From this day forward, you two will serve as my slaves."
Both immediately bowed. "It is our honor! It is our honor!"
Kairo continued, "Take this."
He summoned a dimensional jade.
"Press it, and you will be transported to my world."
"Yes, God! Yes, God! It is our honor!" they replied without hesitation.
"I will leave now."
With that, Kairo reversed time once more.
All clans and Fire Orks that had been erased were restored. Confused but grateful, they bowed toward the sky.
The only one who remained gone was Wang Hao Chen.
Then Kairo vanished completely.
Miezu Shen and Zurnhok remained kneeling.
"Goodbye, God… Goodbye, God…" they whispered in unison.
Behind them, the clan members exchanged confused glances.
"Huh?"
---
Later on, the number of beings saved by Guang Zhao is:
**862 Douvigintillion.**
Among them were countless members of the Guang Clan, the remaining survivors of the Wang Clan, and many other races scattered across existence.
They were now gathered under the leadership of Guang Zhao's closest friend—a quasi-immortal at the Threshold Stage named Tian Shu.
At his command, all surviving races, clans, and leaders were assembled on Guang Zhao's planet.
Soon, the representatives of each faction stood waiting in silence.
Then Tian Shu stepped forward.
"Good day, everyone."
His voice was calm, but absolute authority radiated from it.
"I will provide housing for each clan and race. You will all have a place to live."
A wave of relief and gratitude spread among the crowd.
However, Tian Shu's expression remained unchanged.
"But I will be the supreme leader here."
Silence fell instantly.
A Guang Clan member stepped forward in shock.
"How dare you? Leader Zhao never said you would be the supreme here!"
Tian Shu replied calmly, "I am his best friend. Of course, I am the one he trusts the most. You know this as well."
Some agreed, others hesitated, and many remained silent.
Then a Leonin beastman stepped forward.
"This is shameful!"
Tian Shu glanced at him.
In an instant, the Leonin was erased from existence.
No sound. No trace. Nothing remained.
Fear gripped the crowd.
"Let us continue," Tian Shu said calmly.
Even the Barbarian leader trembled uncontrollably in fear.
On Guang Zhao's planet, Tian Shu was the only quasi-immortal present.
Nearly all beings saved were below the Dao Fusion realm and powerless before him.
Tian Shu pointed toward the leaders of the Leonin, Bunnari, Kitsari, Nāgari, and countless beastman clans Leaders.
"All beastmen will reside in the western region."
No one dared resist.
"Yes, Supreme Leader."
Tian Shu nodded.
"Summon a clone."
A clone appeared instantly and constructed countless houses and farms in the western region.
After completing its task, it returned and merged back into Tian Shu's consciousness.
Tian Shu flicked his finger.
A massive spatial portal opened.
"All beastmen, proceed to your assigned land."
The beastmen entered without hesitation.
The portal closed.
"Let us continue," Tian Shu said.
The remaining beings stood in tense silence.
Then Tian Shu released the animals that Guang Zhao had saved. They had remained sealed since arriving on the planet.
With a breath—
They were teleported and scattered across the world.
