Oriana's lips parted as she stared at him, utterly stunned. She had not expected that at all. Her eyes widened the moment his hands moved to his trousers, his fingers already reaching for the zipper.
'Ba-dump… ba-dump…' Her heart raced.
"N…No, Your Majesty!" Oriana spoke quickly, her hands shooting forward at once as if she could physically stop him… well not physically, as she did not touch him; her hands were just in the air.
Zaroth lifted his gaze toward her. His lips slowly curved upward when he noticed how deeply flushed her face had become.
"What is the matter, Ana?" he asked, amusement dancing in his voice, though he feigned innocence—and that only deepened her flush. "Perhaps you have an even better pose for your husband?"
His smile widened further as Oriana shook her head frantically.
"N—No."
Her hands moved to her chest as she took a few deep breaths to calm herself, as his hands freed the zipper. Beneath her palm, she could feel the rapid pounding of her own heart.
