Night came.
Oriana stood outside the castle entrance beside Zaroth as the carriage was parked, ready for departure. Not far from them was Layla, her head bowed deeply as she followed.
There were three carriages in a row. The second one was where Oriana's luggage was placed—some important ones she would be needing. Despite the fact that she was aware there would be more than enough dresses in the castle at Driis, she still insisted.
Then the third carriage was for the servants, which included Layla and one of Zaroth's personal guards who had arrived with him, though he had not been seen earlier.
The coachman moved to open the door as the wind blew softly, the night air colder than before.
Oriana's eyes stared at the coachman almost wearily. After what happened the last time, Oriana was very careful of her surroundings. Nobody truly should be trusted at all.
Her breathing was normal. Maybe she was not scared because she knew that Zaroth was with her.
