Everyone went quiet and simply stared at the scene as tears ran down their eyes. No one made a sound, no one reacted. It was as though they were already expecting this, as they simply stared at him die without making a sound.
"Take him to rest in peace. Dig his grave, and let's give him a respectful burial at least," one of the men said, and the others agreed.
They said nothing. As soon as everyone outside in the tribe learned that the tribe leader was no more, they all went down on their knees and bowed to show their respect. After that, they began preparing for his burial.
It wasn't anything fancy or grand at all. They simply dug holes to bury their tribe leader and some other people whose bodies they could find around. As they buried them, they managed to find some flowers around and placed them around the graves.
Everywhere was quiet. Sunnie and the rest stood with them and simply observed without saying much.
