The atmosphere was already chaotic. Sunnie and her beast husbands were busy with their attention on the boar tribe leader, who was throwing insults at them in fury.
They were too occupied to notice the bear tribe leader picking up a sharp-edged stick to attack Sunnie. When Sunnie turned to notice something coming at her, it was already too late to dodge.
She could only raise her arms and bend in an attempt to protect herself, but luckily, the stick never hit her.
Luka was the only one alert. When he saw the attack, he immediately stepped forward and raised his hand. Luka used his hand to shield the stick. It smashed against his arm, leaving a deep cut that began bleeding as he knocked the stick out of the tribe leader's hand.
The atmosphere went calm. Everyone turned to witness what had just happened. Sunnie stood there, shocked and unharmed. Luka stood there, his arm bleeding, his cold eyes fixed on the tribe leader. The bear tribe leader stood there, glaring furiously at Luka.
