I struggled against the dog leash as I tried to ease the pain my stomach fauna had just kicked with her heel. "Man hitting you like this is starting to get real king boring," fauna flipped her hair.
Her face was a flawless, porcelain doll-like perfection, with a sharp jawline and high cheekbones, framed by platinum blonde hair that cascaded down her back. Her eyes were a piercing, unnatural shade of green that seemed to look right through you.
"Don't you agree, Melody?" Lia asked.
Delaney yanked on the leash choking me. "Ugh!"
"Hey, Melody, did you know that Cockroaches provide vital micronutrients like vitamin B12, iron, magnesium, and zinc? One study suggested they may contain significantly more B12 than beef," Fauna said. "Isn't it funny how malnourished you look?"
Helen, Lia and Delaney laughed along as Fauna pulled a jar out of her bag. It had a cockroach alive and well inside.
