"He said what?" Darius asked.
This wasn't going to be an easy lunchtime.
"Well I'm not sure why you're acting like you couldn't hear the entire thing, Darius. Aren't you always listening, probably through this ring?" I asked.
"Well, look how clever you are," Darius scowled. "You figured that out, but don't know not to be swayed."
"I wasn't swayed!"
"You were. Isn't that guy the perfect Prince Charming blueprint you've been asking for? You've been using me as a substitute for that guy?" He raised a brow in irritation.
"Oh fuck off, you'll just do anything to get out of acting civilized won't you?" I rolled my eyes at him. "And you're surprised by someone showing an interest in me? Your personality is shit that's why even as a demon you're as un-charming as you are charming. Fucking cheapskate."
