They thought she had weaknesses, they were right, She did. But they didn't know what they were, she intended to keep it that way.
As Evelyn sat in the room staring at her babies, she made up her mind.
'I will not raise you both in someone else's shadow' she thought. I will not raise you watching your mother be diminished.
She reached for her notebook, she had started keeping one, ideas and thoughts and plans, the beginnings of something she hadn't named yet, and she opened it to a fresh page. At the top she wrote two words.
FOR THEM.
And underneath, she began to write.
It started the way all great things start, not with a grand announcement but with a problem.
