"Now," she said firmly, "We're going to work."
Her words made the two excited men slowly return, disappointed that their rabbits had run away. Tessa saw their expressions and looked incredulously. Is that why they're sad?
Maybe she would help them with a modern hunting technique to improve their abilities. Watching how pathetic they looked, she felt bad for them. They must adore hunting, and she had just ruined it.
"Don't be sad, you two. I promise to help you hunt lots of rabbits. But I need your help to farm. If we don't do this, we might not see food to eat." She explained, and one by one, their faces brightened into happy smiles. She nodded.
"Now that's more like it. You're both adorable when you smile. Stop frowning—it makes me sad looking at that." She complained, and they both nodded. Right then, she saw both their ears peek out, the hairy beast ears wagging at her words. She giggled.
