Tania Fang—apparently that was the snail's name—said her goodbyes and disappeared so fast it was almost unreal. Tessa had never seen someone move so quickly yet seem so slow at the same time. Somehow, whether by luck or miracle, she still managed to find her way back to the cave.
The men didn't help her at all. They were still arguing, completely ignoring her presence, and Tessa, desperate for some peace, decided to just find her way on her own.
As she walked slowly, Valen spotted her from a distance and immediately rushed forward, something clutched in his hands.
"Tessa Yun, wait up…" he called, increasing his speed.
He was still completely naked, running without a care, his body exposed as if it didn't bother him in the slightest.
