Jay's pov
If someone told me that one house could contain this much noise, I would have never believed it, but right now Keifer's mansion felt less like a house and more like a battlefield where no one was planning to stop.
The moment evening turned into night, music started blasting again, lights were on, people were everywhere, and somehow instead of getting tired, everyone got more energetic.
I was sitting on the couch with Ci.n, both of us sharing a packet of chips while he kept talking non-stop about how our team would have won the treasure hunt if he was the leader.
"You literally ran in the wrong direction," I said, laughing.
"That was strategy."
"That was stupidity."
"Same thing."
I pushed him lightly and he leaned his head on my shoulder dramatically. "You don't appreciate my genius."
"I appreciate silence more," I replied, but didn't move him away.
That was the thing with Ci.n. He was chaotic, loud, irritating sometimes, but with me, he was… easy. Comfortable. Like no effort needed. And I think he knew that too.
"Jay," he suddenly said, "if I die tomorrow, remember me as a legend."
"You're not dying."
"You don't know that."
"I do. Because I will kill you myself before that."
He gasped. "Violence."
"Deserved."
Across the room, Keifer was standing near the table with David and Rory, talking about something, but his eyes weren't fully there. They kept shifting. And every time they did, they landed on me.
On us.
Keifer's pov
I wasn't even part of the conversation anymore.
David was saying something about music, Rory was arguing about who cheated in the game earlier, but I wasn't listening. My focus kept going back to the same place.
Jay.
And Ci.n.
He was too close.
Too comfortable.
Too…
I clenched my jaw slightly.
"Bro, are you even listening?" David asked.
"Yeah," I replied automatically.
"You're not."
Rory followed my gaze and smirked. "Oh."
"Shut up," I muttered.
"Jealous?" he asked casually.
"I'm not jealous."
"Right."
I looked again.
Ci.n leaned closer to her, whispering something, and she laughed.
That did it.
"I'll be back," I said, walking away before they could say anything.
Jay's pov
"Why are you laughing so much?" Ci.n asked, still leaning close.
"Because you're dumb."
"I'm funny."
"You're dumb and funny."
"Still better than boring."
I was about to reply when suddenly—
Someone pulled me slightly from my wrist.
I didn't even need to look.
I knew.
"Keifer—"
Before I could say anything else—
He leaned in and kissed me.
It wasn't long.
Not deep.
Just—
Quick.
Clear.
Right there.
In front of everyone.
For a second—
Everything froze.
Then—
"OH MY GOD—" Felix screamed from across the room.
I blinked.
Looked at him.
Then at Keifer.
"…What was that?"
He looked completely calm.
"She's mine."
"EXCUSE ME?" Ci.n said loudly.
Full Chaos Explosion
Felix ran towards us like he just witnessed history. "REPEAT THAT, I DID NOT RECORD."
David walked behind him, shaking his head. "You just kissed her in front of everyone."
"Yes," Keifer replied.
"Confidence," Calix commented from the side.
Rakki crossed her arms. "Finally."
Freya smiled, while Edrix whispered something to her and she laughed.
Drew was literally clapping. "THIS IS CONTENT."
Ci.n stood up dramatically. "I feel betrayed."
"You're fine," I said.
"I'm not fine. She was sitting with me."
"You are still alive, relax."
But I could still feel it.
The tension.
The shift.
I turned to Keifer.
"You're jealous."
"I'm not."
"You literally just proved it."
He stepped closer.
Lowered his voice.
"I said I'm not."
I smiled slightly.
"You are."
He didn't reply.
But his expression said everything.
"POOL TIME," Ci.n shouted randomly.
"No—" half of us said.
"YES," the other half screamed.
Within minutes, everyone was outside.
No planning.
No logic.
Just chaos.
"You are not pushing me," Mica warned.
"Who said that?" Drew asked innocently.
Three seconds later—
SPLASH.
"DREW—"
Everyone burst out laughing.
Ci.n jumped in willingly.
Felix followed.
David was dragged.
Rakki tried to escape but failed.
Calix jumped in himself.
Freya laughed while Edrix held her hand before pulling her in with him.
I stood near the edge.
"No."
"Come," Keifer said.
"No."
"You came this far."
"I am not getting into water."
He stepped closer.
"…Are you sure?"
"Yes."
He looked at me for a second.
Then suddenly—
Pulled me.
"KEIFER—"
SPLASH.
Cold water hit instantly.
I came up, pushing my hair back. "I will kill you."
He laughed.
"Worth it."
I moved closer and splashed water on him.
"Now we're equal."
"Not yet," he replied.
We were all laughing, shouting, pushing each other, completely soaked and completely insane.
At one point, I noticed Aries standing a little away, watching everything. Not joining, not stopping, just… observing.
He looked at me.
Then at Keifer.
Then back at me.
And this time—
He didn't look angry.
Just—
Thinking.
That made me pause for a second.
"Jay," Keifer called.
I turned back.
"Where did you go?"
"Nowhere."
He pulled me slightly closer in the water.
"Stay here."
I didn't argue.
Then Aries also joined and every thing felt just so fine.
The water splash fight began with lots of shouting.
Keifer eyed stayed on me no matter what was happening.
He is seriously a whole green universe
After the pool chaos, everyone changed and gathered again, but this time it was calmer. Not quiet, but softer. People sat in groups, talking, teasing, laughing in a more relaxed way.
I was sitting on the floor with Ci.n again, but this time Keifer sat behind me, close enough that I could feel him there.
"Jay," Ci.n said, "you have changed."
"How?"
"You're less angry."
"I am not."
"You are."
Keifer spoke from behind. "She's the same."
I leaned back slightly.
"See?"
Ci.n pointed at him. "You are the reason."
"Obviously," Keifer replied.
"Confidence again," David muttered.
Slowly, people started getting sleepy. One by one, they moved to their rooms, still talking, still laughing, but slower now.
I stood up and stretched.
"Tired?"
Keifer asked.
"Very."
We walked to the room together.
This time—
No hiding.
No hesitation.
Inside, it was quiet again.
Finally.
I sat on the bed.
He stood in front of me.
"You didn't like the kiss?" he asked.
I looked at him.
"I didn't say that."
"Then?"
"It was sudden."
He nodded.
"…I don't regret it."
I smiled slightly.
"…Good."
Silence.
Soft.
Comfortable.
"Jay," he said.
"Hm?"
"You're mine."
I looked at him.
"…I know."
And this time—
I didn't tease.
Didn't argue.
Because it felt right.
We cuddled hard and I kissed him.
" Why were you jealous of ci.n?" I asked
" Nothing"
" Say"
" What I get in return'
" Whatever you want"
" Fine, I was just jealous as I was busy with David and rory but my brain was on Yuri and heart was on you sonit all just go mixed up"
" It's okay"
" No, now remove your t-shirt, I want your candy"
I melted on his puppy eyes. Why god why??
I nodded and pecked him.
He licked my lips.
" Fine, but not for whole night"
" Okay"
He removed my t-shirt and brallete.
I instructed him to remove his t-shirt just so I can have my sexy view.
But he was still in his vest. Why can't he just remove it.
I just hope he can't read mind like my horoscope brother of he will now how I think of him.
Then he got up and removed his vest and pants and came only in his boxers.
" If you want you can kiss me anywhere no need to think" he said.
The fuck, I blushed, how he knows what am I thinking?
He is also a horoscope.
That's why they are best friends.
Then I felt his wet kisses and gasped.
After few minutes I hugged him very tightly like he is my snorlax and he indeed one, my favourite one.
I kept kissing his chest and felt asleep.
End of Chapter 22.
