Christopher had just taken a shower and came out of the bathroom. Hearing her question, he frowned and replied, "I did."
"Then how is grandpa?" Janice asked.
He replied, "Grandpa is just the same. But my mom has not been in a good mood recently."
Hearing his words, Janice could more or less guess the reason. After all, no one would be in a good mood with Sophie's incident around.
She said, "When I get back, we can move in there to help your mom, okay? It's hard for her to take care of grandpa alone."
Christopher nodded. "Okay, I'll listen to you. By the way, when are you coming back tomorrow? I'll pick you up."
Janice thought, "I've just arrived. How can I go back tomorrow?" But she was afraid that he might come to find her the next day. So she immediately added, "I haven't finished my work yet. I'm not sure yet."
"We have agreed that you will only go for two days. If you don't come back, I'll go there myself."
