Chapter 13
Lilith and Nemisis find themselves on a rocky planet, which has no atmosphere; the moon, star, and other planets could be seen.
Nemisis took in a deep breath, "Wait... I can breathe?"
"Of course. You're not human, you can breath any where," Lilith said.
Nemisis looked at her. Lilith looked troubled; she looked around nervously.
"Hey," he said calmly. "What's up? You look worried."
She still seemed distant. Nemisis touched her shoulder, and she shrieked.
"Sorry, master," she said, bowing her head. "I shouldn't make you worried."
"OK, about this master thing, can you explain it to me?"
"No, I mean now is not the right time. We are currently in a realm."
"A realm?... " he frowned, then his face brightened up. "Oh, a realm, I even have that."
"The master has a realm?"
"Yh. I get sent there when I black out after battles... Judging by the way you're acting, I can tell this isn't yours."
She nodded.
Suddenly-
A great presence, causing the planet to rumble. The embedded diamond in Nemisis's chest glowed.
Above them, a beast appeared, with six diamonds in its chest; the red one glowed.
"The Alphar," Lilith whispered.
Back at the Kingdom of Zueston, a messenger reads a letter out to the present bodies. After finishing the letter, he bowed and left the room.
The King gently stroked his beard. The Supreme General, having returned from the battlefield, stared at Aenzil. The Queen and Princess stared at the King, waiting for a response.
"Well," the King spoke finally. "There is no need for us to help them, but we will still be on standby, in case they locate who activated the realm. If there is nothing else, you are all excused."
The King stood up and left the room, accompanied by his Commander. The Queen and Princess followed.
In the garden, the Supreme General and Aenzil faced each other; Clara and Tezuka watched from afar.
"The Celestial Phantoms... huh," she said.
"Tell me why you wanted to meet me, or else I'm leaving Edmee."
"Easy now, 'Phantom' " she said jokingly. "I am just curious, this member of yours... Nemisis is it?"
Aenzil sighed, "He is a member, the grandson of Kuto, the son of Apenxy and Xenon. Satisfied?"
"Actually, that explains a lot, what happened at the tournament and now this."
"What do you mean?" Aenzil frowned.
"C'mon, you should know who would activate a realm after such power was displayed."
She folded her arms," You know, for a moment I doubt what happened at the tournament, but hearing this... " She chuckles slightly. "...makes me believe. But using a move like creational disintegration... I hope you remember the first time Apenxy did that."
Aenzil lowered her head, "I do."
"Well lets hope he doesn't die." Edmee walked away, waving her hands.
Back in the Alphar's realm, the Alphar lands close to Nemisis and Lilith. It made a low growl.
"You, punny human in the form of the late SkullCrusher has drawn me to your power." He turns to Lilith, "You shall not interfere."
The moment it finished speaking, Lilith was trapped inside an invincible container that floated above them.
"Master, be careful."
The Alphar suddenly appeared behind Nemisis and hit him with its claws. The strike sent Nemisis crashing into a nearby hill. He recovered, ready to dash out when the Alphar appeared before him, a ball of spirit energy ready to be fired.
The attack vaporized the hill and other nearby hills. Nemisis dashed out of the smoke, creating a distance between him and the beast, but the beast was nowhere to be found.
"Tch, where is it?"
Once the planet was visible in his eyes, red spirit energy gathered around him.
"Disintegrate"
Nothing happened. Nemisis looked confused. Lilith gasped. The Alphar hit him from behind with its tail, Nemisis slammed into the planet through the core and out the other end. The planet exploded, Nemisis stared in horror, the Alphar hovered gently before him.
"You seemed surprised," it said. "This universe, which is my realm, is just like where you humans are in the Milky Way; there is no energy from a great one to strengthen it, which means they break easily, but don't worry, they get replaced, and they contain no life."
The Alphar blurred into a beam of light and shot towards him. He struck Nemisis and sent him hurling through stars and moons, each varying in size. He is thrown into another planet, and the Alphar watches as a badly beaten Nemisis tries to get up. Lilith, on the other hand, attempts to break free from her containment but fails.
The Alphar fires several spheres, but Nemisis deflected every one of them; he wipes the blood from his mouth, he gathers spirit energy, and so does the Alphar. They released an energy attack at each other.
At the center, the attack stopped moving. A figure stood between with its index fingers blocking the attack. He tapped on it, and it shattered like broken glass.
The Alphar's eyes narrowed.
"Aah!" the figure exclaimed. "What a mess, you went too easy on him, Alphar."
The figure turns to Nemisis, immediately Nemisis eyes widen, the figure had a chain on, his mother's chain.
"Xereth?... " he asked.
"How do you know... unless you are his little brother," he strokes his chin gently. "Ah, you must be his little brother. How nice to meet you."
He gave a slight bow.
"Unfortunately for you, he's not around; it's only Papa Xenon who is around, kid."
He laughed maniacally.
"I borrowed this body to prepare for my arrival, but don't worry, your big brother is just asleep, didn't mommy tell you that before she died?"
Nemisis bit his teeth, red spirit energy swirled crazily around him, and the pressure caused nearby planets to shake. The Alphar looked on, not being bothered.
Lilith stared at Xereth. "What- why- how did he even get here?"
Nemisis dashed towards Xereth, but before he could raise his sword, he was slapped by Xereth, sending him into the sun.
The spirit energy around him began to look like fire. He stopped moving, then-
There is a sudden burst that destroys the sun and other nearby planets and stars. Lilith is shaken by the force; the Alpha watched on.
Nemisis hovered before Xereth, his eyes burning with fire, the blade of his sword looked like flames, a dragon in the form of fire slithered around the blade, his hair was bright red.
[TRANSFORMATION: ALPHAR FIRE DEMON]
Nemisis dashed towards Xereth, their swords clashed, creating a shockwave which moved nearby planets out of their orbit. Xereth had an evil grin. He pushed Nemisis back to create a space between them.
Nemisis swung his sword, the fiery dragon shot out towards Xereth, who blocked with his sword, but was pushed through several planets. On the seventh planet, there is a huge explosion.
Suddenly, Xereth appeared before Nemisis.
"Ah, you show me great promise, my child, too bad daddy can't stay to chat." He fades away.
Nemisis feels a sharp pain in his chest, and he falls onto the planet where the Alphar and Lilith were. He stared into the sky, his vision began to blur, the Alphar and Lilith gathered around him, and he blacked out. The seal on his neck gives a faint glow.
Back at the camp, the sky darkened, lightning struck the ground, and then the Alphar appeared in a reasonable size. Sitting on him was Lilith and Nemisis, whose head laid on her lap as he slept. The Prince, along with his General and soldiers, rushed there, the all got on a knee and bowed.
"Rise," the Alphar said. "I want to speak to your leader."
The Prince stepped forward.
"What is there to be done?" the Alphar asked.
"Nothing, oh Great Alphar. We were waiting for the arrival of Nemisis so that we may head back."
"If that's so, let's get moving."
"As you wish, Great Alphar," he turned to his men. "I need someone to go ahead and tell the Kingdom we are coming, the rest of you prepare to move."
[ In the dark void exists a being.
But don't be fooled-
For this being is the void itself...
and beyond even that.
The darkness is merely its presence.
Then-
a bloody red eye opened.
