Sebastian and Liam entered the club, with Liam particularly bubbly, his energy noticeably lighter than before.
"You know, I just had to come to the club today after all the stress today," Liam said, already scanning the place like he was trying to shake off the day.
Sebastian, on the other hand, wasn't there for the same reason.
His eyes moved around the club, quietly searching. The only reason he had agreed to come in the first place was because of Dylan. After everything that had happened the night before, and the silence that followed, he couldn't shake the uneasiness sitting in his chest.
Something had changed.
And he needed to understand what.
So even as Liam spoke, Sebastian barely listened, only nodding occasionally to keep up appearances.
"What happened today at your workplace?" Sebastian finally asked, turning to face Liam after giving up on scanning the crowd for a moment.
Liam grabbed a drink and took a long gulp before answering.
