"Are you for real?" Dylan asked, staring intensely at Sebastian, whose face remained composed and focused on the road ahead.
Sebastian had already started the car, and they moved smoothly along the quiet street. He didn't spare Dylan a single glance, his attention fixed forward, yet he still responded calmly, "How shameless can you be, Dylan? You hear something like that and suddenly, you're cheerful."
"Isn't that what you want?" Dylan mused, tilting his head slightly as he studied him.
"Well… that is exactly what I want," Sebastian replied without hesitation, his tone steady, his eyes never leaving the road.
Dylan pouted, his lips forming a small, dissatisfied curve as realization dawned on him—he had been tricked. Yet, despite that, a soft warmth still spread through his chest. The fact that Sebastian had gone out of his way, in his own strange manner, to cheer him up… it lingered pleasantly in his heart.
