Audrain looked at the sign with confusion, the kind of look you give something that doesn't make any sense. "The place doesn't seem dangerous; I can go take a look". He entered the little town with hopes of finding people and also find a place to rest. He was walking down an alley when he fell into a sewer. The stairs to go back up was destroyed so he had to follow another way to go back.
He heard a little noise behind him, he turned only to his surprise found a door partially opened. He went and peeped through and saw a lot of experimental stuff. He went in to take a better look, he walked through a passage but he didn't see much. He was about to turn back and go when someone pounced on him. Audrain struggled but he couldn't win, then all of a sudden the man stopped pressuring him.
Man: Wait, your human.
Audrain: Yeah, why not.
Man: Sorry, I didn't know there was any human left.
Audrain: No problem, I would have probably done same.
Man: I'm Thelma, What's yours.
Audrain: Umm…It's Audrain. How long have you been here?
Thelma: I've stayed here since the zombie outbreak.
-Grurrr
Audrain: I'm kind of hungry, anything.
Thelma: Just cooked dinner before you came in.
They went into a small room or you can just say the kitchen. They got some food, while they were eating Thelma asked Audrain how he wasn't turned into a zombie.
Audrain: You can say that any zombie who bit me turns back to human, and I wouldn't turn into a zombie.
That left a shock on Thelma's face, his face wore an expression of surprise. He whispered some words to himself then stood up and walked slowly to Audrain and hugged him tightly.
Thelma: My…my long lost nephew.
Audrain was shocked and confused, he didn't understand what was going on any more. His mom had never told him of anyone like Thelma being his uncle. His brain going through a lot.
Audrain: What…I…I don't understand, what do you mean.
Thelma: It's kind of a long story
Audrain: Ok, just say it
Thelma: Well…
[flash back]
Narrator's pass.
10years ago, after Audrain's father created a better cure for his family and injected it in Audrain's body, other people were after his formula and research. He and his wife took their son away after that he blew his lab. Audrain's father called his brother as you can see or read is Thelma and told him the entire situation. They agreed to meet somewhere and Audrain will be given to Thelma so he take care of him from the dangers of the people looking for the formula. On their journey, his wife was killed. She was stabbed from behind, but for the sake of their son he could not stop running. He then got an idea, he dropped Audrain at a lady's door, knocked and kept a note that said; "His name is Audrain, please take care of him for now, someone is coming to get him", then he left. He took his phone and called Thelma to tell him of the current status before he was killed, same way as his wife. the phone kept ringing, Thelma answered it but no one was talking, so he lost track of everything. Fortunately for Audrain, the woman was kind and took care of him.

Thelma: That's all that happened.
Audrain: So, I'm really the cure.
Thelma: Yes.
Audrain: Wait, how are you not a zombie.
Thelma: That's kind of the interesting part.
[flash back]
Narrator's pass.
During the second zombie outbreak, one of the scientist who did the experiment was Thelma. He had opposed the idea of doing such a risky experiment and the fear of what it may cause, but he was persuaded by the lead surgeon. After successfully reviving the man, Thelma felt something was off so he decided to leave. He planted camera all over the place to keep an eye if anything goes wrong. He watched through his phone, he saw the incident happen and he left the place totally. Then he began his quest to find Audrain knowing he was the only key to human's survival.

Thelma: That's much of everything.
Audrain: Uncle Thelma…Sorry.
Thelma: No don't apologies, I'm the one meant to say sorry for not looking for you.
Audrain: It's ok, you did the best you could. After all, (smiling) I had a great life.
Thelma: Don't worry we'll put an end to this. I knew I'll find you so I prepared forehand. Come I'll show you
Thelma took Audrain to a room and opened the door. What Audrain saw shattered his eyes.
