He wasn't particularly surprised. His nose had taken more than a few hits today, and the dull ache lingering in the bridge of it made it obvious enough. A nosebleed wasn't unusual after that kind of impact, even if it was still unpleasant. If it were possible, he would have preferred to stay completely out of the restricted zone altogether.
With nothing on him to properly stop it, Rim Young could only raise his hand and wipe at the blood beneath his nose. It kept coming anyway, warm and persistent, smearing across his fingers no matter how many times he tried to clean it away. Trying to wipe away the blood, Rim Young briefly forgot that Wi Hajoon had already turned and left. When he finally looked up, the schoolyard felt suddenly empty, the fog pressing in around him as if the entire restricted zone had swallowed everything else.
