Lirien's POV
Four months had passed since I came home from the hospital.
Before we left, the doctor had a serious talk with all three of us. Vael and Davis sat on either side of me in the room, holding my hands. The doctor spoke kindly but carefully.
"You have made good progress, Lirien," he said with a warm smile. "But you are still healing from the gunshot. You must rest a lot. Eat healthy food every day. And Vael, Davis, you need to take very good care of him. He is carrying triplets. This is not easy for his body."
Vael and Davis nodded seriously. They looked determined.
