Lirien's Pov
Vael took my hand again and we continued walking toward the exit terminal. Jax and Theo walked with us, staying close like a protective little group.
Everything felt new and strange. The gravity was slightly different from the ship's artificial gravity, a little heavier, more grounding. My steps felt solid in a way they never had before. The sounds were louder too real birds, distant traffic, people talking and laughing without the constant low hum of ship engines.
At the immigration checkpoint, Vael stayed right beside me. He had already arranged everything with my fake ID as Ensign Lirien Voss. The officer scanned it, asked a few routine questions, and waved us through without any problems. I let out a huge breath of relief when we passed.
Once we were outside the main terminal building, Vael led us toward a private transport area.
