Author's Note: Hello guys! I haven't been updating much huh? I recently had a girlfriend, oh my gosh was it hard to sneak out and write. Why are they so clingy? I mean, I love that shit of course but damn, I barely have time for my hobbies. But today is different, we're gonna man up and not talk to them until we're done!
I'll update you guys if we break up, no worries.
Anyways, time to kill off Iida, kekeke.
Nah, I'm kidding.

I met her on my way to chicago~
She was all alone~
"Can you stop?" growled Hound Dog, "We are here to patrol and you have been singing that on repeat for last few hours! You're not even getting way past that part!"
Yoshiki gasped vindictively, "I didn't know you were such a boomer, Inui-sensei!"
Inui gritted his teeth and forced himself not to hit Yoshiki.
"He's just a child... you are better than this... deep breaths..."
This is the 3rd Day of the work experience, they had been patrolling and catching criminals when they can. It was mostly tracking lost things though, which is kinda boring but at least it's training.
They compete who finds the most items and Yoshiki got the lead which irks Hound Dog saying that he didn't really need this work experience if his senses are better than his mentor.
Although Yoshiki denies this by saying that he's been having fun and that this is a great break from all that stress.
Even then, it's still a bummer that it really had been a boring day. Unlike the first day where they discovered bombs, right now they're just waiting for whatever happens, really.
Whether the planters would proceed with their foiled plan or not depends entirely on how dumb the leader of this plan was.
Yoshiki sighed and took a sip of the smoothie that an old lady has bought for them for their hard work, which is really heartwarming.
Hound Dog noticed him sighing and asked, "That's a long sigh. Bored?"
Yoshiki just nodded, "I can't help it, there really isn't anything happening as of this moment..."
Right as he said this, the hairs on his skin suddenly rose. An inexplicable chill permeates through his body. After this, explosions resounded in the distance. Shrieks rang out, what once was a peaceful moment was swallowed by the intensity of panic.
They both looked at each other with a tense face, both thinking the same thing.
'Jinxed it.'
Yoshiki didn't need orders and instantly took out his hoverboard and flew to the nearest commotion, Hound Dog was already ahead of him running on fours.
"Damn, he's really a dog."
As they got to the scene, they could see how bad the situation was. An entity that stood on all fours like a gorilla but it's more leaner, and more... disgusting. It has a beak-like face with it's brain showing on the outside.
'It looks exactly like...' Yoshiki thought, discerning it's appearance.
"A Nomu?" Hound Dog said growling, "They really are experimenting, like Principal said." his face was distorted in an angry, menacing look.
'So that's why he's Hound Dog huh?' Yoshiki thought giving him a second glance.
Hound Dog looked at him and growled something that couldn't quite understand, due to it just being growls and all that.
Although, he really didn't need to. Hound Dog was already pouncing on the Nomu thing, so his job was really to evacuate the civilians.
He tapped his mask on the side and activated voice enhancing mode on it so he could be heard even with the commotion happening.
"THE SITUATION IS BEING HANDLED! PLEASE, LET US EVACUATE HERE, LET'S NOT STAY HERE AND LET'S TRY NOT TO PANIC!"
Saying this, he flew to the nearest direction of rubbles, he helped people while Hound Dog was pushing the Nomu away from the scene.
That's Pro Hero for you!
He led the injured, carried children to safety all the while his mask was playing pre recorded voice.
He checked again, seeing as the civilians has mostly evacuated, he flew to Hound Dog's side. He was banged up, but nothing fatal or serious. Seeing this, he took his gun out and put it to the highest setting and fired.
TUTUTUTUTU!
High pressure air bullets rushed out of the muzzle and pierced the Nomu, giving Hound Dog time to recuperate.
The Nomu shrieked and changed targets, hopping up to meet Yoshiki but he maneuvered and managed to blast the Nomu away with a pressurized air beam making it crash to the ground.
He the hovered near Hound Dog to see if he's fine.
A shriek came out of the place the Nomu crashed on and it revealed a fully healed Nomu, it's nerves bulging from its body in pure rage.
Hound Dog roared and dashed towards it as the Nomu met him head on. Fists vs. Claws.
They seem to be on the same stats, but Hound Dog was relying on his beastly instincts to dodge the blows and land more slashes and cuts. It seemed helpless since the Nomu could just seemingly regenerate infinitely.
Yoshiki joined the fray and kept distance, they danced around the Nomu while exploiting its lack of intelligence.
What the two doesn't know was that, Nomus are an experimentation done on those people who are better than average. It's either an underground fighter, a thug, or low lives. It's a monster right now, but it did used to be Human after all.
It was just a matter of how much it retains.
And this Nomu seemed to retain its previous fighting skills. The Nomu threw and over head punch so Hound Dog dodge it, slipping on its side but suddenly it threw its weight on its shoulders and bashed Hound Dog.
His eyes widened but it was too late, he was off-balanced and the fist was already near his face. Memories flashed in his mind—
"Ah."
A crack sounded out, but it wasn't the sound of Hound Dog's skull breaking from the punch—
It was Yoshiki's hoverboard. He successfully crashed onto the incoming punch and offset its path, throwing it off balance. While momentarily airborn, he extended his staff and bashed it on the thing's head along with the electricity, stunning it for a moment.
A moment enough for Hound Dog to dash away.
He breathed out and looked at Yoshiki battling the Nomu at close range, dodging its fists inches from his body while he kept it in a distance with his staff.
"Damn it... no way I'm letting a kid outperform me..."
Growling, he took off his muzzle, baring his fangs, eyes turning red.
Grrrr!
Hound Mode
He leaped towards the Nomu, crashing into and throwing both to the ground. He bit it's beak-like face and shook it side to side and teared off its face.
"Damn!" Yoshiki to the side was shocked at this scene. He intercepted a fist coming to Hound Dog electrecuting it and pinned it on the ground.
Hound Dog teared into the Nomu, biting the other hand while his claws kept tearing and digging on its body. Blood splattered on the ground and finally—
Teaaarrr!!!
Its right arm was teared off its sockets as Hound Dog spits its arms to the side, growling as he stood. It struggled to rise but Yoshiki kepts upping the electricity, paralyzing the muscles to cease it.
Hound Dog grabbed the Nomu's head and started applying force. He gripped it with his claws and then—
Pop!
Its head crushed under pressure as Hound Dog howled into air.
The blood splattered onto Yoshiki but thankfully, he had a face mask.
Hound Dog looked at him with red eyes and he felt his body tensing in danger. He raised his hands and tried to pacify Hound Dog.
"Chill... doggy, I'm not the enemy..."
All he got was a menacing growl before Hound Dog leaped up onto a nearby building, using his claws to climb up.
He sighed, looking at all the mess.
"Tch, this is disgusting, let's let the others deal with this."
Nodding to himself, he ran after Hound Dog tracking him by scent. The blood on his body is too pungent so there's no way he'll lose him.
After running, he saw a winged Nomu in the sky hovering just enough to instantly catch an unsuspecting victim. He switched to sniping mode and charge it up, but before he could pull the trigger, someone else got there first.
A figure leaped from another building nearest to it and clung to its body. Once he saw it, he understood.
"Jesus..."
It was Hound Dog, he tore off its wings, making it crash into the ground. When Yoshiki got there, Hound Dog was already tearing its body with his claws while trying to bite off its head.
It was the scene of nightmares, he wasn't sure which is the true monster.
At this moment, his phone buzzed and he checked it was Izuku sending a location signal. He looked at Hound Dog and his phone and decided.
"Yeah... he's got this."
Saying that, he run off towards the location signal.
