By the time the six cars finally reached Jeju, the sky had already started turning orange as the sun slowly sank toward the horizon.
The long drive had left everyone tired, but the moment they stepped out of their cars and felt the cool island breeze, the exhaustion quickly turned into excitement.
Jiyeon stretched dramatically.
"Finally! I thought we would never arrive."
"You slept half the trip," Min Ah said.
"That's exactly why I'm still tired."
Nearby, Nari removed her sunglasses and looked at the building in front of them.
"So this is our home for the week."
The place they rented looked like a small apartment complex but with the feeling of a cozy hotel. It had clean white walls, wooden balconies, and warm lights glowing from the windows.
Small plants decorated the entrance, and the whole place had a peaceful vacation vibe.
Dahye stepped forward and looked around.
"It's nicer than I expected."
Yerin nodded.
"At least we'll be comfortable while working."
Behind them, the cooking team was already unloading food boxes.
"Careful!" Eunseo warned.
Haerin was dragging a box across the ground.
"I am careful!"
"You almost dropped the vegetables."
"That was intentional."
Nari sighed.
"You're impossible."
Inside the Apartment
Once everyone carried their luggage inside, they gathered in the large living room.
Jae Min checked the booking details on his phone.
"Alright, room arrangements."
Everyone immediately paid attention.
"There are five rooms," he said.

Room 3 — 4 beds
Room 4 — 3 beds

The moment he mentioned Room 5, everyone looked at the two boys.
Hyun Soo raised both hands.
"That's ours."
Jae Min nodded.
"No argument."
They were the only two men in the group anyway.
Jiyeon smirked.
"Look at you two getting a private room."
"It's not luxury," Jae Min complained. "It's survival."
Everyone laughed as the two boys quickly grabbed their bags and claimed Room 5 before anyone could change their minds.
First Room Choice
Next came the girls.
Team One and Team Four looked at each other.
Since Hyun Soo and Jae Min were already gone, only the four girls from those two teams remained.
So Hee spoke first.
"We can share."
Park Hyeji nodded.
"That works."
Room 3 had four beds, which fit them perfectly.
"Then Room 3 is ours," Bora said.
Just like that, Team One and Team Four merged together and claimed Room 3.
They picked up their luggage and headed down the hallway while chatting about the long trip.
Second Room Choice
Next to decide was Team Five.
Kim Eunji checked the list again.
"Room 4 has three beds."
Han Yuri shrugged.
"That's fine."
Park So Min nodded.
"No problem."
So Team Five took Room 4 without any argument.
The Remaining Groups
Now only Room 1 and Room 2 were left.

Everyone stood around the living room trying to calculate.

Yu Na looked at the numbers carefully.
Then someone suggested,
"What if Team Two joins the cooking team?"
Everyone paused to calculate.

"That's six," Eunseo said.
"And Room 1 has five beds," Nari added.
There was a short silence.
Then So Hee, who had returned from the hallway, spoke calmly.
"One person can join Team Three."
Everyone immediately understood.
Room 2 had four beds, and Team Three only had three people, so there was space for one more person.

All eyes slowly turned toward the cooking team.
Nari folded her arms.

"I'm not volunteering."

The room debate was over.
Everyone grabbed their luggage and headed to their rooms.
Dinner Time
Soon the kitchen became busy.
Even though Haerin was now staying with Team Three, she kept running back to help cook.
Eunseo chopped vegetables while Nari supervised like a boss.
"Haerin," Nari said.
"Yes?"
"You moved rooms, not jobs."
"I like helping!"
Two seconds later she almost dropped a bowl.
Eunseo burst out laughing.
"You're chaos."
First Night Fun
Soon dinner was ready.
Everyone gathered around the large dining table.
After the long drive, the food disappeared quickly.
"This is amazing," Jiyeon said while eating.
"Of course it is," Nari replied proudly.
After dinner the mood became even more lively.
Some people sat on the couch.
Others sat on the floor.
Stories, jokes, and laughter filled the room.
Jiyeon began telling exaggerated stories from old photoshoots.
Min Ah laughed until she nearly fell off her chair.
Yu Na watched everything quietly with a small smile.
Meanwhile Nari leaned closer to Eunseo.
"So," she teased, "how's your first Jeju trip with us?"
Eunseo shook her head.
"Loud."
Nari grinned.
"You'll get used to it."
Across the room, Dahye and Yerin sat not too far from each other.
Their relationship still secret.
But every now and then their eyes met.
And they smiled.
The night slowly grew deeper.
Some people became sleepy.
Others kept talking late into the night.
