"We are not walking into that hole, Aria, it smells like a wet grave and I have already seen enough dead things this week," Ariana says, her boots splashing into the oily puddle at the mouth of the old railway tunnel.
"Neither have I," I mutter under my breath.
"He has the decryption key for the lower medical bay, Ariana. If I don't get that code, Dominic is going to suffocate under that ring," I say, my fingers shaking as I drag the small glass screen of my phone down to refresh the signal tracker. The battery icon is flashing a dull, dying orange against the dark display. "He sent the coordinates three minutes ago. He is under the third pillar by the original switching line."
