Chapter 1 - end of feng clan

In the vast expanse of the Higher Realm, where stars birthed continents and spiritual energy flowed like rivers, few names carried as much weight as the Feng Clan. They were a towering colossus, a power that shook the heavens. And at the apex of this clan stood one man: Feng Kail.

Feng Kail was a once-in-a-generation monster, a supreme genius whose talent defied the natural order. In a world governed by fifteen strict tiers of cultivation, he had already reached the pinnacle of the 14th tier: The Demi-God Realm. He stood on the absolute precipice of breaking through to the 15th tier—the legendary True God Realm.

But peace in the Higher Realm was a fragile illusion.

Deep within the ancestral grand palace, Feng Kail stood by a balcony, his eyes gazing out at the shifting, ominous clouds of the celestial sky. The very air was heavy with the scent of ozone and impending blood.

"A storm is coming," Feng Kail murmured, his voice echoing with a faint, divine resonance.

Behind him, a space distorted. A man stepped out of the shadows. It was Feng Yan, Feng Kail's trusted younger brother and a formidable powerhouse in his own right, having attained the Transmigration Realm

.

"Senior Brother," Feng Yan spoke, his tone laced with a mixture of anxiety and ambition. "The rumors from the central continent are true. The Celestial Nectar is about to appear. A war between the current gods is inevitable. Why don't we strike first? If you can obtain the Nectar and drink it, you will break through to a True God!"

Feng Yan took a step forward, his eyes burning. "Right now, the Higher Realm is ruled by only three True Gods. If you join their ranks, the Feng Clan will achieve true immortality! We will become the undisputed leaders among the three ancient clans of gods. No one will ever dare look down on us again."

Feng Kail sighed, a sound that carried the weight of centuries. He turned to face his brother.

"You think it is that simple, Feng Yan? The Celestial Nectar is a honey trap draped in gold. Every powerhouse across the continent is coveting it. The moment I leave the territory to pursue it, our clan will be left vulnerable. Countless hidden enemies will descend upon us like starved wolves."

Feng Kail looked out at the sprawling city below, where millions of their clansmen lived. "The three True Gods already view our Feng Clan as an existential threat. They know that if I break through naturally, the balance of power shifts forever. Moreover... they don't just want me dead. They want to tear our clan's ultimate secret from my soul: the [God Devouring Technique]."

Feng Yan's face paled. "But Senior Brother, if we do not contest the Nectar, they will still attack us! They won't let you cultivate in peace."

"Do not worry," Feng Kail said calmly, a mysterious glint in his eyes. "The Nectar is not the only path to godhood. From the ancient times, people believed it was the only way because the gods wanted them to believe it. True godhood comes from within, not from a bottle."

Feng Yan gasping, shocked to his very core. "What?! But since the dawn of time, every text states—"

Before Feng Yan could finish his sentence, the sky above the Feng Clan shattered like glass.

" Feng kail, come out, today you will die ".

The voice roared like thunder, cracking the protective barriers of the palace. The sheer pressure caused the ground to tremble and lower-level cultivators across the city to spit out blood.

Feng Yan's expression twisted in horror. "I knew they would strike... but to think they would come this soon!"

"They are terrified," Feng Kail said, his aura suddenly exploding outward, a terrifying pressure of a Demi-God that pushed back against the invading force. "They know that if they don't kill me now, they will never get another chance. They came to extinguish the spark before it becomes a wildfire."

Feng Kail turned to his brother, his eyes fierce and commanding. "Feng Yan, take the core elders. Gather our young descendants and the pregnant women. Open the forbidden spatial array and send them to the Lower Realm. Let them hide, let them survive."

"Senior Brother, no! I will stay and fight!" Feng Yan roared.

"Go!" Feng Kail commanded. "We cannot beat three True Gods in a frontal assault. But if I fight with everything I have, I can buy you time. Our bloodline *must* survive!"

Outside, the sky had turned completely crimson. Three colossal figures, shrouded in blinding divine light, hovered above the Feng Clan. With a casual wave of their hands, palaces crumbled, mountains collapsed, and millions of lives were instantly turned to ash. The True Gods were mercilessly erasing the Feng Clan from existence.

"Stop"

A voice boomed from the burning ruins. Feng Kail soared into the sky, his long hair fluttering, his eyes burning with an unyielding will. His sword unsheathed, humming with a terrifying, world-ending power.

"I, Feng Kail, Leader of the Feng Clan, will fight you to my final breath!"

That day, the Higher Realm witnessed a battle that shook the foundations of the world. A Demi-God defied the heavens, fighting three True Gods at once. The sky bled, and the earth split.

But against three gods, even a genius like Feng Kail could not rewrite fate. By the time the sun set, the glorious Feng Clan had been completely wiped out, reduced to a tragic footnote in history.

Four Hundred Years Later.....

The Higher Realm had long forgotten the Feng Clan. In the Lower Realm, far away from the celestial energy of the gods, a small group of survivors had managed to settle down.

However, the Lower Realm lacked spiritual qi. Generation after generation, the mighty bloodline of the Feng Clan grew weaker and thinner. Over four centuries, the descendants of the legendary Demi-God lost the ability to sense Qi entirely. In the end, they became ordinary mortals, living mundane, fragile lives.

In a remote, impoverished village nestled at the foot of a nameless mountain, a quiet cry broke the silence of the night.

Inside a small, humble wooden cabin, a child was born into a poor family. The father, a simple farmer with worn-out hands, wrapped the newborn baby in a coarse blanket. Looking down at the boy's unusually bright, piercing eyes, the father smiled warmly.

"From today on, your name will be Kail," the father whispered softly. "Feng Kail."
