Chapter 285 - Fourfold Flame Power, The Ultimate Flame Dragon Form Arrives!

It was mind control!

"Damn it!"

Daisy struggled with everything she had, the vibrational force inside her oscillating wildly as she tried to shatter the invisible bonds. But how could physical vibrations interfere with intangible mental domination?

On the other side, Natasha was similarly crippled by the psychic pressure. Not only was she completely immobilized, but she couldn't even maintain her beast form, slowly reverting back to her base human shape.

Supergiant stepped closer to the two of them, appraising them as if examining fine collector's items:

"Let's see what interesting things are hiding inside your minds..."

As she spoke, she abruptly amplified her psychic output. This was no longer simple control—it was a brutal, forced invasion!

Her telepathic energy peeled back the psychological firewalls in their minds like an onion, plunging straight into the deepest recesses of their memories—reaching those dark, unspeakable pasts they wished no one would ever uncover.

Natasha let out an agonizing scream as the bloody memories buried deep within the Red Room flooded her consciousness like a raging tide.

Beside her, Daisy turned deathly pale, traumatized visions of being abused at the orphanage and insulted by her foster parents flashing repeatedly across her mind.

Seeing this, Felicia instinctively raised her voice in song, trying to utilize the power of her Emerald Dragon Scales to help the two snap out of their agony.

But her efforts were completely in vain. Her song could neither disrupt Supergiant's psychic output nor pull the two out of their mental prisons!

If soft methods didn't work, then force was the only answer!

With that thought, she raised her hand to control the Ten Rings, firing a colossal torrent of energy directly at Supergiant.

Yet Supergiant merely offered her a contemptuous glance, not even bothering to move. Beside her, Dwarf stepped forward, sweeping his massive axe horizontally across his chest.

Vvvmmm!

The energy beam—hot enough to instantly melt the steel hull of an aircraft carrier—slammed into the axe, only to be completely repelled by the weapon!

"Fine prey."

Dwarf shook his head with disdain, then burst into a charge straight toward Felicia. Faced with the overwhelming momentum of the Dwarf, Felicia didn't dare clash with him head-on, relying entirely on her superior agility to maneuver around him.

In the blink of an eye, the three primary powerhouses Peter had painstakingly cultivated were all completely tied down. Without their MVP-level firepower output, the already precarious battle situation deteriorated rapidly.

Surrounding Chitauri soldiers poured in relentlessly, driving the remaining superheroes into a corner with zero room to retaliate.

Down in the subterranean safe houses, watching the superheroes fall into an absolute disadvantage, countless citizens collapsed to their knees, clutching their heads in sheer despair.

The enemies were simply too terrifyingly strong! In a war like this, did Earth truly stand a single chance of victory?

Crack.

Just as a heavy cloud of gloom shrouded everyone, a faint sound drew the attention of everyone present.

Everyone instinctively looked up, realizing that Peter had switched his broadcast feed back to his front-facing camera at some point. Right now, the can of soda in his hand had been squeezed into a piece of metal the size of a coin.

The icy chill dripping from his voice was enough to make one's skin crawl right through the screen:

"Since someone insists on tap-dancing on my minefield..."

"Then... don't expect to leave Earth alive."

As he spoke, a golden necklace materialized around Peter's neck.

"Take me to the largest alien mothership up there."

The moment the words left his mouth, the Eye of Aurora flashed with a brilliant light, and Peter vanished from the rooftop instantly.

In the very next second, he materialized directly inside the bridge of the primary Chitauri flagship.

The surrounding Chitauri officers blanked for a brief instant before frantically raising their energy rifles in sheer panic. But they no longer had the opportunity to pull their triggers.

"Henshin!"

Peter's right hand swept across the Wizardriver at his waist.

[Flame, Please!]

At the exact same time, the watch dial on his wrist spun wildly.

Human Torch Form + Divine Dragon Power!

And then:

"Fire Rat Garment!!!"

In the blink of an eye, four massive buffs stacked simultaneously!

Golden flames surged forth in a roaring inferno, swallowing every single plasma round fired from all directions. Within the raging fire, the synthesized electronic voice sounded stuttered and broken, like a jammed tape:

[Final... Flame! Dragon! Bou-Bou-Bou-Bou-Bou!]

BOOM!

After an immeasurable second, the golden inferno erupted outward. From within the flames, a draconian hybrid armor encased Peter's entire body.

The Ultimate Flame Dragon Form—arrives!

The moment he strode out from the inferno, a highly compressed sphere of energy—blending liquid magma with golden flames—spun wildly in his palm, taking shape until it ultimately formed a colossal Rasenshuriken lined with countless razor-sharp wind blades.

Scorch Style: Super Grand Ball Rasenshuriken!

He casually tossed the spinning projectile right toward his feet.

There was no earth-shattering explosion—only a silent, blinding flash of white light.

In the next moment, through the broadcast screens, the citizens of New York, as well as Thanos and his inner circle far away on Titan, witnessed a scene they would never forget for the rest of their lives.

That Chitauri mothership—a vessel as massive as a floating island—suddenly ignited with golden flames from the inside out, as if a miniature sun had been birthed within its core.

The entire vessel melted, disintegrated, and dissolved completely without a sound, transforming into a torrential downpour of molten metal and fiery light that spilled downward. Yet even that molten steel vanished entirely mid-fall.

The absolute, extreme heat burned everything into absolute nothingness.

From within this blinding sun, a single figure flew out gracefully. Flipping mid-air, he locked his sights onto a second mothership nearby.

Upon his right foot, a terrifying concentration of energy—enough to blow a small planet to pieces—condensed into a brilliant point.

[Choi-ne! Kick Strike! Saiko!]

A streak of crimson-gold light ripped across the sky, driving straight into the hull of that second mothership.

The ship's indestructible alloy-and-bio-armored hull was as fragile as wet paper before this Rider Kick, pierced cleanly through with absolute ease.

The massive chassis shuddered and pitched violently in the sky, its propulsion systems completely wrecked, before dragging a long trail of dark smoke and crashing headlong into the Hudson River, kicking up a massive tidal wave.

From start to finish, it took less than ten seconds.

Two motherships—one completely vaporized, one shot down.

The entire New York battlefield instantly fell into an eerie, dead silence.

Amidst that absolute stillness, a bone-chilling voice echoed down from the heavens:

"You blue-skinned freak over there... next up, it's your turn."

At this exact moment, everyone stared blankly at that figure shining as brightly as the sun in the sky.

Down in the safe houses, the air that had been choked with despair and terror just a moment ago was completely set ablaze in an instant!

"OHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

"OH MY GOD, WOW~!"

"THE ARBITER! THE ARBITER! THE ARBITER!!!"

Deafening cheers converged into a massive acoustic wave, nearly tearing the ceilings off the subterranean facilities.

Meanwhile, far away on Titan...

The fake, hypocritical smile that usually hung on Ebony Maw's face had completely frozen. His eyes were wide as saucers, his mouth agape wide enough to swallow an egg whole.

Beside him, Loki looked deathly pale, his frame trembling uncontrollably as he repeatedly mumbled the exact same phrase over and over:

"I knew it... I knew it..."

Upon the throne, the relaxed, master-planner smile on Thanos's face had long since vanished without a trace.

He slowly stood up. Those eyes—capable of making the entire cosmos tremble in fear—for the very first time, flashed with an emotion called "gravity"...
