Listening to Loki's frantic, near-delusional muttering, Ebony Maw couldn't help but wear an expression that perfectly mirrored the old-man-squinting-at-his-phone.jpg meme.
I could offer you a smoke, but please take your absolute madness somewhere else.
The corners of Ebony Maw's lips curled downward into a sharp, dismissive sneer. He turned toward Loki, fully prepared to unleash a scathing reprimand. But before he could utter a single syllable, a deep, infinitely authoritative voice cut through the air, silencing him instantly:
"Prince Loki."
Thanos sat upon his high throne, his massive physical frame radiating a mountain-like majesty that exerted a suffocating psychological pressure across the chamber. "It seems you hold this guardian of Earth in exceptionally high regard."
Loki's Adam's apple bobbed up and down. Across from him, those deep, cosmic eyes seemed to harbor a latent power capable of snuffing out an entire star system.
"I am merely... stating the objective facts. That guy is an absolute bottomless abyss. You will never know where his true limit lies."
"An abyss?" Thanos let out a cold, booming laugh. In the same movement, his massive hand clenched, effortlessly crushing a chalice forged from ultra-high-density space alloy into scrap metal. "But in the presence of Thanos, even a black hole has no choice but to bow its head and submit!"
With that, he shifted his cold gaze away from Loki, turning toward the reverent Ebony Maw.
"Since Prince Loki still harbors reservations regarding the military might of our Titan star, let us give him a front-row seat to witness our true power."
Thanos's thick fingers tapped rhythmically against the armrest of his throne, generating heavy, dull thuds. "Ebony Maw, contact Supergiant and Black Dwarf. Tell them the playtime is officially over. I am granting them exactly ten minutes to completely erase those entertaining ants."
"By your command, my Sovereign." Ebony Maw bowed deeply, a cruel, sadistic spark of excitement flashing within his eyes.
Five thousand meters in the air, deep within the primary command deck of the largest Chitauri mothership, two imposing silhouettes stood looking down at the ongoing warfare below.
One was a towering, heavily muscled behemoth with coarse, grayish-brown skin, a horrific visage, and a massive battle-axe slung casually across his shoulder— Dwarf.
The other was a slender, deeply blue-skinned female whose eyes radiated an eerie, hypnotic luminescence—Supergiant.
"What an utterly boring theatrical display," Supergiant remarked with a slow yawn, her tone dripping with lazy contempt. "The desperate struggling of these lower lifeforms possesses absolutely zero aesthetic value."
Dwarf, however, kept his predatory gaze locked entirely onto the Hulk and Alexei, a savage grin twisting his hideous features. "I, for one, want to see if those two oversized bugs can provide me with any real entertainment!"
Right at that moment, Ebony Maw's transmission echoed directly within their consciousness, relaying Thanos's absolute decree.
The two Order members exchanged a brief look. In the next split second, without a single shred of hesitation, they threw open the secondary bay doors of the mothership and plunged straight down from an altitude of several thousand meters.
Dwarf's near-invulnerable physiology easily shrugged off the violent atmospheric friction and the crushing kinetic airflow of the freefall.
As for Supergiant, a pale blue telekinetic forcefield materialized effortlessly around her form, ensuring that no matter how brutal the high-altitude gales became, they couldn't even dislodge her dark hood.
The two bodies transformed into two roaring, brilliant meteors dragging massive tails of atmospheric fire behind them, cutting through the sky with an unstoppable, cataclysmic momentum as they slammed directly into the absolute epicenter of the Manhattan battlefield!
BOOM!!!
BOOM!!!
Two apocalyptic detonations echoed almost simultaneously!
The entirety of Manhattan Island shuddered violently, behaving as if it had been struck by a massive, magnitude-7.0 earthquake.
Columns of pulverized concrete and smoke shot straight into the heavens, while visible, crater-like indentations—resembling meteorite impact zones—rippled across the bedrock.
At this exact moment, every single superhero and Chitauri soldier currently locked in combat stopped their movements in unison, turning their shocked, wide-eyed gazes toward the center of the detonations.
As the dense veil of dust gradually billowed away, two figures radiating a terrifying, oppressive aura slowly strode out from the craters. In that exact instant, an unprecedented, suffocating weight descended upon the entire battlefield.
"ROAR!"
Positioned closest to the impact zone, the Hulk was the absolute first to react. As the literal incarnation of pure rage, unless someone possessed the capability to completely dominate him into submission like Peter, he would never bow to anyone.
Unleashing an earth-shattering roar, he threw his massive frame into a full sprint, moving like an out-of-control green freight train straight toward the towering Black Dwarf!
"Entertaining!"
Dwarf split his massive jaws, exposing a row of horrific, serrated fangs. He didn't even bother to unsheathe his great axe; instead, he unleashed a matching, primal roar of his own and charged head-on to meet the Hulk!
Beneath the hyper-focused gaze of countless spectators across the city and down within the subterranean safe houses, the two colossal entities slammed together with immense force!
CRASH!
A highly visible, physical shockwave warped the very air around them. The sheer atmospheric displacement was so immense that the surrounding, already compromised structural architecture was instantaneously pulverized into fine dust.
However, the anticipated scenario of an evenly matched, double-casualty collision completely failed to materialize.
Right beneath the stunned, wide-eyed gaze of Gwen and the others, the Hulk—a being who was mathematically considered an unstoppable physical force—was sent flying entirely backward by Dwarf's sheer kinetic mass.
His massive green body smashed through three consecutive skyscrapers before finally skidding to a brutal halt amidst the debris.
In stark contrast, Black Dwarf merely stumbled back three steps, shook his massive head once, and instantaneously recovered his footing. Not only was he entirely unfazed, but he immediately broke into a heavy sprint, closing the distance to the downed giant.
By the time Dwarf reached him, the Hulk had just managed to regain his bearings. Unleashing a furious, venomous roar, his muscles swelled and bulged to an even more monstrous degree. The two giants abandoned all semblance of technique, engaging in a raw, primal trade of bone-crushing punches.
Yet, despite taking the full weight of the Hulk's fists directly to his flesh, Dwarf didn't display a single shred of pain. The Hulk, conversely, let out an agonized roar with every single counter-blow he sustained!
"Green reptile, you are a profound disappointment!"
As he spoke, Dwarf effortlessly intercepted a massive incoming punch from the Hulk. In a lightning-fast transition, he wrapped his massive arms around the Hulk's extended forearm and drove his knee violently upward into the joint.
SNAP!
A sickening, stomach-churning sound of splintering bone echoed across the avenue! The Hulk's massive, tree-trunk-sized arm was violently snapped in half by raw, unadulterated physical leverage!
"ROARAAAGHHH—!"
The sheer, blinding agony caused the Hulk to unleash a frantic, screaming roar. He plunged into a state of absolute, frenzied madness, his muscle mass visibly expanding even further as his eyes flushed a completely unhinged, rabid crimson.
"Beautifully executed, Dwarf~" a raspy, melodic female voice echoed smoothly from behind.
The Hulk instinctively swung his remaining good arm in a massive, sweeping hook toward the voice, but before his fist could even come within a meter of Supergiant, it was entirely halted by an invisible, impenetrable telekinetic barrier.
Immediately following, a bizarre, swirling current of blue mental energy washed directly over the Hulk's massive frame. The unhinged, apocalyptic rage burning within his eyes rapidly began to dissolve into a hollow, glassy blankness.
Then, completely ignoring Dwarf standing right behind him, the Hulk spun on his heel and charged with homicidal intent straight toward Captain America, who was fighting not too far away.
The Captain's eyes widened in sheer shock, and he roared at the top of his lungs: "Bruce! It's me!"
BOOM!
The green giant's massive fist smashed squarely into the star-spangled Vibranium shield. While the absolute kinetic force wasn't enough to shatter the divine metal, the raw momentum launched Captain America, along with his shield, flying backward like a ragdoll.
His body smashed through countless structural pillars before finally crashing into the concrete. Upon making landfall, blood sprayed violently from his lips, his body curling and twitching completely involuntarily.
The sheer, unbuffered shockwave of that single blow had violently shattered the Captain's spine!
"Captain!"
Gwen gasped in pure horror, instantly firing a strand of web to propel herself frantically toward the downed Avenger.
Noticing that Supergiant's gaze had shifted toward Gwen with a look of predatory curiosity, Daisy and Natasha exchanged a swift, knowing glance. Without an instant's hesitation, they charged forward together to intercept her:
"Don't you dare touch Ghost-Spider!"
However, before they could even close half the distance, Supergiant merely lifted a slender finger and tapped the air gently in their direction.
In the very next split second, Daisy and Natasha felt an absolute, invisible weight instantaneously encase their entire bodies.
It felt as if a thousand unseen, crushing hands were pinning them violently against the asphalt, rendering them utterly incapable of moving even a single millimeter!
Upon the S.H.I.E.L.D. rooftop, Peter slowly set his coffee cup down on the small table. The lazy, relaxed smile on his face had completely vanished.
"Alright... I suppose that's more than enough training for one day."
He stood up from his chair, his gaze locking directly onto the distant forms of Dwarf and Supergiant.
"Freddy, cut the live broadcast feed immediately. The next part of the show... isn't suitable for a general audience."
