The moment I stepped into our home, an object came flying at me at a ridiculous speed before I could even react. However, miraculously, I managed to catch it just before it hit my face, but the force behind its momentum sent me skidding backward.

My back crashed into the wall of the building, breaking through it like tofu, and I was sent rolling several meters into the courtyard like a ragdoll.

The screams and shouts of Aleena and Pico were the last things I heard before I passed out.
