Chapter 8 - A Troubled Princess

That night, Solomon received a prayer.

He was sitting in the circus tent with a book in his hand that he had borrowed from the library of Alexander. It spoke about the god worshipped by the Kingdom of Olaria.

However, his reading was disturbed by a pink figure that appeared in the stands.

Oh, has the Princess prayed to me again, or did somebody find my prayer inside the books?

As he gestured towards the seat at the centre, the figure made their way over and sat down.

Afterwards, the clouds faded away and there she was.

Lucy Windelle.

Today she was dressed in what seemed to be a purple, velvet sleeping dress. It was much shorter than her other dresses. So short that if she turned around, Solomon thought that he might see the bottom of her exposed ass.

Today, the princess seemed distressed. She wore a look on her face that suggested so.

Solomon White, or the Clown, took his seat opposite her.

"Thank you for your prayer."

"Thank you for answering my prayer." She replied, meeting his eyes.

Silence hung in the air for a few moments before Solomon spoke again.

"You seem upset, Lucy Windelle."

The Princess hardly reacted to the words. She let out a deep sigh before speaking.

"I did not know it was that obvious. Sir Clown, I received news today that has bothered me deeply. If I can be honest, I don't know what to do..."

Solomon's ears perked at the sound of news.

As the god of information, he would never turn down a chance to gain knowledge.

He didn't speak, and instead waited for the woman to continue, which she soon did.

"Father has finally found a man for me to marry."

...

It was hardly the news Solomon was expecting to hear.

He would be lying if he said that it didn't annoy him. After all, he has enjoyed the time he spent with the Princess.

With this, their playtime would have to come to an end.

"Is that not good news? You did say that you wished to find a partner."

"Yes, yes, I know. But this man that my father has decided to partner me with, Prince Godrick Valanian. He is the worst man I have ever known."

The Prince didn't ring a bell to Solomon, other than the surname.

The Valanian Kingdom was a place located in the neighbouring country. The Valanians and the Olaria Kingdom had been allied for many years, and were two of the strongest Kingdoms amongst the Eastern Islands.

Their ruler, King Malagen was said to be a powerful, righteous man. However, his wife, Queen Claudia, was often referred to as a witch.

I have heard that Queen Claudia favoured one of her children more than the others.

Could this Prince Godrick be that child, and because of this, picked up her mannerisms?

If this were the case, then Solomon understood why the princess was so stressed.

"Can't you refuse to marry him?" He suggested.

The princess let out a helpless laugh.

"My father would beat me until my skin turned red if I even dared. He's marrying me off for power, and once he has his eyes on power, he would never lose sight of it."

So that's the type of man King Henry is. One that hits his daughter.

The more Solomon heard, the less he liked it.

He had only known Lucy for a short amount of time, but he had grown to like the woman.

He had intentions of expanding his harem, but he wanted it to start with her.

She was his first believer. The one who started him on this journey.

I want to help her, but how?

Solomon thought for a few moments, not wishing to say anything.

Lucy noticed that the Clown was thinking. Her curiosity spiked as she wondered what he was thinking about.

Then finally, an idea came to him.

"Which god is worshipped in the Valanian Kingdom?"

"They worship the same god as ours. We are the only two kingdoms within Altearth that worship her. Juniper, the Goddess of Restoration."

There it was. Solomon's key to solving the situation.

The fact that the two kingdoms worshipped the same god was convenient for him.

He placed the plan in the back of his mind for now and nodded his head.

Lucy didn't ask what the god had planned, but deep down, she hoped that he would be able to do something!

The chance was unlikely, but she knew not to underestimate a god.

Instead, she changed the topic. She didn't want to think about such depressing things.

"Sir Clown, I hope I am not stepping out of line, but what do you think of my sleeping dress?"

The woman stood up and twirled around.

The backs of the velvet dress rose, revealing the woman's panties. They were purple and clung tightly to her plump, white ass cheeks.

The sight excited Solomon, and he didn't bother hiding it.

"It shows your most beautiful body parts. It suits you."

Lucy's brows raised and her cheeks reddened.

She went to sit down, but Solomon shook his head.

He rose to his feet and made his way over to the far side of the tent, where his king-sized bed sat.

Lucy Windelle followed him slowly.

"I want you to test the comfort of my bed. I haven't slept in it yet, but I can't think of a better test subject than royalty herself."

The Princess wasted no time lying face down on the bed. Her ass cheeks jiggled as she did, and her dress rose, revealing her panties once again.

Must she keep teasing me?

Lucy turned around with a smile on her face. She clearly seemed to be enjoying the comfort of the bed.

"I've never lain on something so soft before! If I were to sleep here, I don't think I would ever wake up."

Solomon wanted to invite her to sleep with him.

He would have, if it suited his role as a god.

However, for now, he had other matters to tend to.

He enjoyed the sight of the woman's body, before announcing to her that it was time for her to leave.

She bowed her head respectfully and returned to the stands, leaving Solomon alone within the pink tent.

He took in a deep breath and let it out slowly.

"Alright. It's time to meet another god."
