Wang Han approached Lu Xian, gently taking her hand and saying with a smile,

Before she leaned even closer and kissed him on the cheek, Wang Han thought happily.
'I knew I had made the right choice.'

Wang Han and his parents then returned to their clan and sent invitations to all the clan elders. A grand engagement party would be held the following day at the Lu clan headquarters, and all the important people from various forces and clans in the city were invited.
The news spread like wildfire throughout the clan and the city. In less than three hours, everyone knew about Wang Han and Lu Xian's engagement party.

'Finally, I have Lu Xian. Now the first goal is complete. Soon, the city will be under my control,' Wang Han thought, a smile never leaving his lips. But his eyes held a different kind of glint than before as he began to speak casually with his fiancée's parents.
