Wang Han and his parents stepped out of the carriage, where they were greeted at the gates, which opened as soon as they arrived, by a large, imposing man in his forties the head of the Lu clan, along with his wife and daughter, Lu Xian.
"Welcome, dear ones. We have been eagerly awaiting your arrival. Today is a momentous day, and joy will fill the entire city." the head of the Lu clan greeted them warmly with a friendly smile.
"Of course, Brother Lu Ming, the fact that a brilliant and beautiful girl like Lu Xian is engaged to our son Wang Han is undoubtedly something to celebrate. They are, without a doubt, the two brightest stars in this city." Wang Shu replied with a meaningful smile, glancing sideways at his son.
"Absolutely, they are the brightest stars. No one can compare to them. Brother Wang Shu, it seems you've kept Wang Han's strengths a bit of a mystery. I didn't expect him to already be at the level of a seven-star cultivator. That's amazing hahaha."
"They truly are a perfect couple, geniuses in addition to their captivating beauty. It seems the heavens chose them as a pair long ago." Wang Han's mother said at that moment, placing her hand near her mouth and speaking in a friendly tone.
Wang Han and Lu Xian stood silently, observing the brief exchanges between their parents, and simply gazed at each other, each admiring the other, a very handsome boy and a very beautiful girl, each undeniably number one in beauty in the entire city.
"Well, we can't just keep talking outside the door; that's inappropriate. Let's go inside and discuss the details." After a few more exchanges, Lu Ming spoke before we began heading inside the clan. Lu Xian approached Wang Han and walked beside him.
At this time, there were two separate groups of people on either side of Wang Han and his companions, heading towards the clan's main hall.

At that moment, all these whispers were overheard by Wang Han and Lu Xian, who were completely absorbed in listening to the various discussions without uttering a word, before Wang Han broke the silence with his usual smile.

"No, I never expected that, and that's precisely because I know all too well about your genius." Lu Xian's response froze Wang Han, who had been ready to boast even more.
"It's our engagement day. Can't you tone down your words? It's hurting my heart." Wang Han said, wiping away a nonexistent tear from the corner of his eye with feigned sadness.
"That's the truth. But I chose you over Wang Kai for your intellect, not your talent. That's why you were able to break through in the first place. You must have devised some plan to get something useful that helped you do it."
'She's terrifying. She's analyzed things perfectly. She really knows me.'
"Well, you're right. My talent isn't great, I know that. That's why I think more than others, otherwise I wouldn't even be on the same level as that stupid Shui Mang." Wang Han replied wearily before looking directly into Lu Xian's eyes and saying with a completely confident smile.
"But things will change soon!"
"Hmm?" Lu Xian was somewhat surprised by Wang Han's overwhelming confidence as he spoke about things changing in the future, as if it were a given. She knew his capabilities well and trusted that he knew himself better than she did.
'Where does Wang Han's confidence come from? Could it be that he obtained some treasure from Wang Kai after defeating him? Wang Han thought to himself at that moment with complete seriousness, his expression shifting from his previous jest to utter graveness, knowing full well how crucial this particular moment was for their future.
