Estelle gathered her dress as she hurried after Leander, "Wait up..." she cried out, seeing just how easily he was getting ahead of her without even breaking his stride.
"Leander..." she called again, the r in his name rolling and stressing as she tried to get his attention.
"It's not my fault you have short legs," he mused without turning back to look at her, and she breathed heavily as she tried to catch up from behind.
Their cousin was coming to visit that day, and the twins were both excited about it, especially because he wouldn't be coming alone this time but would be bringing another cousin along with him.
"I'm your sister and you can't even look after me, Leander. What kind of a brother are you?" she asked just as she finally slowed down beside him and held her chest as though she had run a marathon right in the middle of the palace.
