Cedric was quick to meet Rebecca the moment he saw her approaching, and without hesitation, he wrapped his arms around her and drew her naturally into his embrace.
Rebecca rested her head against his chest, taking comfort in the familiar warmth of him, just as he murmured, "I shouldn't have left home."
