"Is this a joke? This thing would definitely eat me up if I try to move toward it." Ray said, dumbfounded on what next to do.
Since he was still naked, he picked up his class in an attempt to wear it once he was able to evade the infected human.
However, to his surprise, the ghoul didn't seem to be charging toward him. Infact, it's almost as if she couldn't see him.
All she did was sniff in the air, then, letting out a disinterested growl, she turned toward the door to leave.
"Hey don't go, I still have to complete the que…" Ray had just attempted to chase after the ghoul when suddenly he found himself right in front of the ghoul.
"What just happened?" He asked, replaying the scene again in his mind.
He had only took a step forward to run, and like lightning speed, he had found himself at the door, before the ghoul could reach to it.
That's when he recalled what the system had shown him previously about having a superspeed skill.
Based on the myths and stories he's heard, vampires were said to have supernatural speed.
So now that he is that very vampire everyone knew about, this must be how he was able to get to the door so fast within a few seconds. Something no human could ever do.
"Does that mean I have superstrength too?"
Yet to his surprise as he stood in front of the ghoul, it didn't appear to be attacking him, it just stayed in the same position, like it didn't see him as a threat.
"So, basically, because I'm a vampire, this ghoul doesn't seem to be attacking me. Could it be because we're both from the same species?" Ray assessed.
"These ghouls may act like zombies, but they're not exactly zombies. Unlike zombies, they're not blind, and it seems they possess a little intelligence than zombies, at least based on what I read from mangas and stories."
"Heck, could they be eating brains like zombies?"
Ray didn't have time to ponder on the question when he heard a loud alarm from outside the window. Wondering what it was, he moved away from the door, momentarily forgetting that he was there to stop the ghoul from leaving.
Getting to the window, Ray discovered that the alarm was coming from output speakers placed everywhere in the city in case of world emergency like this.
The alarm stopped ringing and a man's voice could be heard coming out of it.
"Attention everyone! As of now, it has been discovered that a strange infection is spreading throughout the streets of Earth, with thousands of people already dead. Dangerous, sick looking people are walking around, killing everyone in their path."
"They're not in their right minds, and they have one or two parts of their flesh missing. So, if you see anyone with these type of descriptions, please for your own safety, run as fast as you can. They are infected and would infect you once you're caught.
"I know you're confused but the government is trying everything they could to find a solution to this problem. Please stay safe and hang in there."
And so the announcement ended there.
"Stay safe? How are they meant to stay safe when the streets and everywhere is filled with walking deads?" Ray said as he glanced down below. He could see some of the ghouls walking and sniffing around.
There were no bodies on the ground, which means they had either been eaten or turned into a ghoul as well.
Stepping away from the window, Ray turned around, only to realise that the nurse had left the room.
"Why is everyone so eager to leave this room, is it because it belonged to an Ex-HIV patient? Heck, I don't have the virus again, do I?" Ray smiled.
"Since I've been cured of my illness, I guess it's only right that I cure others too. I will do what I failed to do as a human doctor, and do better as a Vampire doctor. Even if I have to use my seed."
With that, Ray put on his cloth as he exited the room to find both Thea and the female nurse.

In front of the hospital, a blue Lamborghini pulled up and four boys could be seen exiting the car. They all wore expensive clothes and necklaces, and their luxurious perfume seems to draw the attention of the female ghouls to them.
Not the type of attention where they will be eaten, but the attention that a man gains from a woman.
"Doesn't it feel great?" One of the boys with a blue hair said. "To be finally free from that one disease."
"Honestly, things will be so boring if we can't find any lady that hasn't been infected yet. Then the whole point of us being alive would feel like a curse." Another with a green hair said.
"We don't want that to happen, do we? Is that not why we've come to the hospital to see if there are any survivors we could 'rescue'?" The boy with red hair said. He seems to be the leader of whatever group they are.
"And also, we need them for another purpose. Not just because they're a lady, we need the men too. Bring me any living human you find." The red haired boy instructed, and the group had immediately nodded in response.
"Yes Logan."
Without any further instruction, the group walked toward the trunk of the car where they started bringing out metal pipes and baseball bats that they needed for their mission.
"So as to get them to trust us, we need to show them that we're just like them, uninfected but willing to save every human from being killed or infected." Logan said, "And lastly, don't ever use any of your skills in front of them."
"Anyone who dares to go against this plan will be severely punished, I promise you that." As he said this, his eyes glowed red for a moment before it quickly disappeared.
