Chapter 74
NIKOLAJ'S POV
I was paralyzed with shock seeing Georgia and myself plastered across the massive screen.
There was the shot of us grabbing coffee. Another of Georgia in that pink dress—though thankfully, I wasn't in that particular frame. Then came the photo of us laughing together while grilling meat, moments before Jaime had interrupted us.
My heart felt like it had been gripped by a vice. A wave of whispers immediately flooded the hall as every head turned to find us.
"Isn't that Jaime Dashton's fiancée?"
"I thought they were getting married?"
"Is that her? I recognize her from the engagement announcements."
"Did they break up?"
"Oh my God, is she having an affair?"
"With his uncle? That's insane."
Maddison stood up, her entire body stiff with fury, and marched toward the technical booth. She clearly had plenty to say to the crew.
