Chapter 38- Nemesis (Part 1)
Rein stopped and looked around him. The sound of the rain outside made everything feel even more eerie. However, it wasn't the rain that made him feel uneasy, nor was it the nightmare he had just experienced. Instead, something about the atmosphere felt off.
However, Rein didn't show it on his face as he continued walking down the stairs to the kitchen. Pulling the bottle of water, he poured a cup and drank it casually, his back to the door.
'Mmm, this is refreshing.' He thought to himself. After that, he put the bottle back as he turned around to walk back to his room. As he was turning his head, Rein suddenly felt a silhouette appear behind him.
'Someone!' Rein's senses heightened to the extreme as he quickly moved his body like a flash, ducking as a sword sliced above his head.
