Chapter 248 - This Is a Little Ewe, Right? How About Calling Her Pretty Sheep?

"Still haven't given it a name?"

The moment Garp finished speaking, Kairo D. Arashi immediately became interested. He even stood up and walked over to the little white sheep. After tilting his head and studying it for a moment, he nodded repeatedly.

"She's actually quite cute... Let's call her Pretty Sheep. Oh, right, this is a little ewe, isn't it?"

"A little ewe... Hahahahaha..."

Looking at Kairo D. Arashi's serious expression, Garp couldn't hold back his exaggerated laughter again. Sengoku, meanwhile, had gone completely dark in the face.

He was suddenly beginning to regret wanting Kairo D. Arashi to join the Marines.

Although Kairo D. Arashi hadn't given him a definite answer yet, he was already so utterly fearless and completely disregarding the dignity of the Fleet Admiral. If he really joined Marine Headquarters in the future, wouldn't he tear the entire Headquarters building apart?

"Garp, are you done laughing yet?"

Seeing Garp continuing to laugh uproariously, Sengoku turned his head and roared, "Remember your position! You're a Marine Vice Admiral!"

"Let's just call her Pretty Sheep!"

Garp stopped laughing and, imitating Kairo D. Arashi's serious expression, said, "I think it's a really nice name."

Sengoku turned back and glanced at the little white sheep beside him. Seeing it raise its head and look at him, he suddenly blinked.

"Why didn't I think of giving her a name like that? Not bad. From now on, you'll be called Pretty Sheep!"

"Baa..."

The little white sheep seemed to be responding to Sengoku and bleated softly!

Hearing the sheep's cry, Sengoku nodded in satisfaction before turning to Kairo D. Arashi.

"Kairo D. Arashi, now that we've even given this sheep a name, shouldn't you give me a definite answer?"

"Uh..."

Kairo D. Arashi looked at Sengoku in surprise. "Fleet Admiral Sengoku, didn't I already give you my answer when I named Pretty Sheep? Hmm, I suddenly thought of a fun game. If Fleet Admiral Sengoku beats me, I'll join the Marines! And I'll strictly follow Marine regulations and do my duty!"

"A game?"

Sengoku blinked in confusion and asked, "What game?"

"Simple!"

Kairo D. Arashi dragged a chair over and sat down in front of the desk. "Rock-paper-scissors. You know how to play, right?"

"Yes."

Sengoku nodded, then widened his eyes.

"Don't tell me you're planning to use rock-paper-scissors to decide this?"

"Isn't it interesting?"

Kairo D. Arashi narrowed his eyes and smiled. "Best two out of three. If I lose, I'll immediately join the Marines. Even if you make me an ordinary soldier, I'll do it! But if Fleet Admiral Sengoku loses, you have to agree to one thing."

"What thing?"

Sengoku became even more interested.

It was only rock-paper-scissors. As the Marine Fleet Admiral, known as the "Strategist," he'd never been afraid of anyone in a game like this!

Seeing Sengoku's reaction, Kairo D. Arashi was secretly delighted. He immediately said, "If Fleet Admiral Sengoku loses, you have to accept an interview from me. Of course, I won't ask about any Marine secrets. They'll all be questions about your personal life."

Hearing that Kairo D. Arashi wanted to interview Sengoku, Garp, sitting to the side, instinctively widened his eyes. An ominous feeling suddenly welled up inside him!

"Sounds fair!"

Sengoku nodded thoughtfully.

If he won, Kairo D. Arashi would give up his travels and become a Marine. If he lost, all he had to do was accept an interview. It was a great deal!

Although he knew Kairo D. Arashi wasn't the sort of person who would willingly make a losing bargain, Sengoku was extremely confident in his rock-paper-scissors skills.

As long as he beat Kairo D. Arashi, he could give him some cushy position and gradually cultivate him into one of the Marines' future pillars!

Thinking of this, Sengoku cautiously asked, "If you lose, brat, you won't go back on your word, will you?"

"Don't worry. You've got my word!"

Kairo D. Arashi smiled slyly. "Of course, if Fleet Admiral Sengoku really manages to beat me, I'll keep my word. I'll start as a Marine soldier and work hard until I meet your standards!"

Although Sengoku knew this was obviously a provocation, he still readily agreed.

"You're pretty confident, brat! Fine, best two out of three! Let's go!"

"Here we go!"

Seeing Sengoku agree so readily, Kairo D. Arashi quickly stood up, planted one foot on the chair, rolled up his sleeve, and shouted at Sengoku.

"Rock! Paper! Scissors!"

"Hahaha, I won against Fleet Admiral Sengoku!"

After winning the first round, Kairo D. Arashi laughed arrogantly.

"Again... Rock, paper, scissors! What the hell?!"

The result was revealed very quickly.

Without a doubt, Sengoku had lost.

And he had lost miserably, because he hadn't won even once!

"Eh..."

Seeing how terribly he'd lost, Sengoku looked up at Kairo D. Arashi in disbelief.

"Kairo D. Arashi, tell me honestly. Just now, were you..."

"Hey, hey, hey, don't try to weasel out of it!"

Seeing that Sengoku was unwilling to accept his loss, Kairo D. Arashi quickly interrupted him and promptly took out the Video Transponder Snail he'd prepared in advance, placing it on the table.

"If Fleet Admiral Sengoku isn't convinced, after the interview... I can give you another chance!"

"You said it!"

Seeing that Kairo D. Arashi was actually willing to give him another chance, Sengoku's eyes immediately lit up.

It was just an interview. Simple!

However, just as Sengoku sat down and prepared to accept Kairo D. Arashi's interview, he saw Garp beside him desperately shaking his head.

Sengoku froze for a moment before instantly understanding!

He had trained and fought alongside Garp since their rookie days, so of course he understood what Garp meant.

Clearly, this so-called interview was a trap.

More importantly, judging from Garp's expression, Sengoku could tell that Garp had already fallen into this trap more than ten times!

After realizing this, Sengoku's eyes rolled. He immediately clutched his stomach with a pained expression and hurriedly said, "No, I can't. My stomach hurts. I must've eaten something bad just now. I'll go use the bathroom first!"

With that, Sengoku promptly stood up and prepared to dash toward the restroom.

However, the moment Sengoku stood up, a knock came from outside the door.

Immediately afterward, Admiral Sakazuki and Admiral Borsalino, both wearing Marine Headquarters Admiral coats, pushed open the door and walked in.

"Hmm?"

The moment they entered the office, the two Admirals froze when they saw the situation inside.

"Sakazuki, Borsalino, you came at just the right time!"

Before the two Admirals could react, Sengoku hurriedly said, "You two take my place and accept Kairo D. Arashi's interview! Make sure you cooperate. Whatever he asks, just answer him... Ouch, no, I really have to go!"

With that, Sengoku bolted toward the restroom, leaving Akainu and Kizaru standing there, completely dumbfounded and unable to react for quite some time.

Kairo D. Arashi naturally knew that Sengoku was trying to use his need to urinate as an excuse to escape the interview. If Akainu and Kizaru hadn't appeared, Kairo D. Arashi definitely wouldn't have let Sengoku off so easily.

But things were different now!

There were plenty of juicy secrets to dig out of Akainu and Kizaru as well, weren't there?

Although he'd originally considered interviewing the three Admirals, he wasn't familiar with them, so he'd only been able to use Sengoku as his starting point.

Now that Sengoku had ordered the two Admirals to take his place, even if they tried to put on airs in front of him, they would still have to cooperate with the interview.

After all, they were soldiers.

A soldier's duty was to obey orders. Naturally, they wouldn't disobey their superior!

Kairo D. Arashi turned his head and looked at the two Admirals, who were still standing there with blank expressions.

His eyes gradually narrowed, and the smile on his face slowly became downright sinister!
