Some stories start off like a fairytale.
Some start off mediocre.
Phoebe's started with untold tragedies.
With a burning desire for freedom.
A father who hates her.
Where she’s taught neglect and abuse is love.
She will stop at nothing to escape and reach her dreams.

Taeyung was a boy raised to be a monster.
A man with a deadly obsession.
Where power through fear and blood became a second language.
Her fire, her bite, her strength.
It was a trap and he fell right in.
Consumed by a desperation to own her.
He’d burn the world for her.
Tear down empires.
Nothing will stop him.
He would have her or no one else would.

*This is a slow burn, enemies to lovers, Cinderella story with a kick ass female lead, who breaks through your typical narrative. The male lead is toxic and has a lot of growth to make but he does grow! So give him a chance, he may impress you*

Outside, snow continued falling over Seoul, covering the streets in white while the apartment stayed warm and bright.

Christmas music played quietly from the living room.

Mi Mi's little voice carried through the house as she continued ordering her dolls around.

Karen and Omoni were talking quietly near the counter.

Taeyung stood beside me, moving through the kitchen like he'd been doing it with me forever.

"Is dinner almost done? I'm hungry Omoni." Mi Mi whined.

"We should change before the dinner begins. Mrs. Choi can finish the rest of dinner." Taeyung moved over to me reaching around my waist and resting his hand on the small of my back ready to guide me from the kitchen.
