**The day Phoebe left**
Park Jinyu woke up and started his day like any other day. With an empty stomach and a massive hangover. His head was pounding like a gorilla in a cage. Its usual relentless pursuit was amplified by the sun once he walked out of his room.
His body shook. He needed a beer to curb the alcohol shakes.
He left his room in search of his morning drink.
The house carried an eerie silence. The air was cold, and a sort of familiar feeling settling in the musky air.
He hated this house. The smell. The memories. The emptiness. It reeked inside his home.
But there was no escape for him. There never was.
The usual clatter of dishes couldn't be heard from the kitchen, as usual. He immediately got angry.
"Why doesn't that useless bitch have breakfast going? Is she still sleeping?" Park Jinyu asked no one in particular.
