I beat his ass in that match, and that made me forgive him more than the laptop did. I pulled out my phone and texted Mouse. It had been a few days since we spoke last.
When she texted back, I facetimed her.
"I know, I know, it's been a while, but I have some juicy stories for you, girl." I told her without saying hello. It had only been two days, but to us, that was a long time. If I didn't talk to her at least once a day, something was wrong.
"You better. Some basic bitch updates would be an unacceptable reason to not call me." She growled at me through the phone.
Mouse… More like monster.
I caught her up on what happened.
"You're kidding me. Girl, I don't know about him. The red flags… they're pretty crazy."
I don't know what came over me, but I asked the dumbest question I could "Have you looked him up?"
"No, but guess I should, huh. Hold on." She said and I heard her thumbs tapping on the screen.
