We finished with the couch and coffee table. Hung her TV off the mount on the living room wall. She had a rug on the floor under the couch and table. Nice and soft. Warm under my bare feet.
It was nearing sundown when Cherry walked in.
Loud and unannounced.
I was beyond excited to see her.
I rushed to her side, throwing my arms around her.
"Damn I missed you."
"I missed you too." Cherry rubbed my back and giggled.
I missed that giggle.
I missed my Disney princess.
"I brought goodies!" Cherry clapped excitedly.
She placed a large shopping bag on the coffee table we just built and started pulling things out.
First was a bottle of perfume. It was extra fancy inlaid with gold designs. "This is for you, Mouse."
Cherry handed her the perfume and then pulled out a traditional Egyptian decorated satchel. "For your art supplies."
