"Just what are you goin' on about so early in the mornin'," Rosetta said with a yawn, coming out from behind the leaf curtains.

"Oh, Rosetta, you're up," Zenith turned around to face her, smiling a bit awkwardly.

"Well, how could I possibly be sleeping with all your *Clappin'*," she responded with a playful glare.

"Haha, I got a bit carried away there, sorry." He said, scratching the back of his head shyly.

"Pfft!"

"I'm just kidding, you know, there's no need to apologize." Rosetta said, bursting into laughter.

...

Zenith's smile was still a bit awkward.

"Uhm, anyway, I've made us breakfast," Zenith said, gesturing toward the flower-petal trays arranged on the mushroom cap table.

The spread contained meticulously arranged portions of honey-glazed fruits and berries.

Rosetta's wings fluttered in surprise, her gaze softening as she hovered closer.

"You didn't have to," she murmured, though the warmth in her voice betrayed her delight.

"Anything for you, my lady," Zenith replied with a playful bow.

Rosetta blushed fiercely at Zenith's theatrics.

"Oh, hush now," she giggled sweetly.

They settled onto 'toadstool' stools, the morning light filtering through the rose-petal walls as they slowly savored breakfast.

...

After having breakfast, it was finally time to head out.

Well, it would've been, if Rosetta hadn't been constantly flipping between dresses, trying to decide what to wear.

'Hah... Women,' Zenith thought with a sigh, suppressing a tiny smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.

...

A few minutes later, Rosetta finally emerged from her room.

She was wearing a gown made of purplish-pink petals that curved snugly at her waist before flaring out like a morning glory.

Rosetta twirled once, sending the layered petals of her dress flaring outward.

"Well? How do I look?" she asked Zenith shyly.

"Stunning," he admitted.

"But then again, you always are."

Rosetta's cheeks became a deeper shade of pink than her dress.

"Oh, stop it, you honey talker," she mumbled, flustered as she floated past him toward the entrance.

"Come on 'sugar-lips', let's go," she called over her shoulder, her southern drawl dripping with playful sarcasm.

"Haha, I'm right behind you," Zenith chuckled lightly before following her out into the golden light of Pixie Hollow.

...

Zenith and Rosetta emerged from her rose-petal home.

Around them, the air buzzed with morning activity, fairies darting to and fro, busying themselves with the final preparations for Spring.

"Come along this way, I think Fawn should be showing Tinkerbell how to do animal-fairy stuff," Rosetta said, fluttering ahead with Zenith gliding effortlessly beside her.

Their path took them over the waving slopes of the Spring Valley meadow.

Flying over the plants and bushes, Zenith caught glimpses of a bunch of rapidly moving weeds barreling through the grass and flowers below.

'The sprinting thistles, huh,' he mused, watching the chaotic weeds moving with astonishing speed.

He smiled, continuing onwards with Rosetta flying by his side.

...

Eventually, they had reached the edge of Spring Valley, where the scenery had quietly changed.

The rolling meadows soon gave way to a forest of tall pine trees.

At the very top of a few trees were outposts made from large pinecones.

There were scout-talent fairies stationed at the outposts, being on the lookout.

...

"They should be around here somewhere," Rosetta murmured, scanning the area for any sign of Fawn or Tinkerbell.

...

But at that moment a loud, panicked shout, followed by the blaring of a horn, echoed from the scout-talent fairies stationed above the trees.

"Hawk!!"
