"Arghh..." Killian lowered himself to his bed, with a hand pressed to his forehead. To sell it further, he faked a cough.
Arisa and Lumen looked at him, confused, then worried. "Are you alright?" Lumen asked, reaching for Killian's head.
The room coordinator, who sat at the back of the room with a new set of teacups and a kettle, clapped once.
"Enough."
He came behind the boys and gently pulled them away from Killian. "He has suffered from severe body pain and headache since his recent training. Let him rest."
The boys immediately backed off with guilty expressions. Killian lay down slowly and closed his eyes.
His hand dropped from his head as he curled himself on his bed. The other three quietly walked away from his bed. Killian's eyes snapped open.
'Great. That worked.'
He couldn't tell if the Coordinator played along or bought his act, but he paid it no mind. He threw his bedsheet over his body. 'Alright. I'm ready.'
