"Alright." Killian changed the topic. "Let's get serious."
The tendrils behind him spread wider, scraping across the floor. With a thought, his status revealed his list of skills. He searched for the one that could effectively break through Evangel's defense.
His eyes settled on Dawn of Death. He raised his head. "Do you have a summons?"
Evangel hesitated, and his bloodstream paused with him. He shrugged. The streams continued their fluid movements. "It's unstable."
'Unstable?' Killian thought of Dawn of Death. It wasn't unstable, but there wasn't any definite stability to it. While it listened to him, it had a mind of its own. That made it different from other skills.
"Mine isn't very stable either," Killian said. "Can you risk it?"
"I don't want to," Evangel admitted. "If I call it out, I might not be able to send it back."
Killian nodded. "Fair point."
