While they were exploring the village they were then called by Captain Moed and beginning to head back "I handed to you Stowaway, you really showed him who's boss" Sally giving Semya a small compliment "yes, after all you all showed me a lot. But being called a freak or a Stowaway has gotten me feel special I guess" heading into the chief's house, they see Captain Moed discussing the ancient message written on the map and sees his crew has finally made their way.
Captain Moed felt calm seeing his crew came back from their sightseeing with Semya in the village "there you all are come we have goods news"
"What's our luck Captain, found something good?"
Captain Moed nodded "Chief Mazof managed to decipher the message. Would please be kind and tell my crew what we've found"
The chief nodded "understood" he held out a paper he translated from and clears his throat "the message describes. As old age came, few moons awaited, as grains on sand were to become whole once more. The Dragon Keeper may await in a cave for his arrival. These were all it said" the chief then placed down the piece of paper with the decrypted back onto the table for the others to see.
But to the crew it felt off to them, almost questioning the whole message they just heard. "That feels more like gibberish than an actual hint, and what is a Dragon Keeper?" Kalkeck protesting a bit "The Dragon Keeper that's just made up words"
Semya shook his head "no the Dragon Keeper is a real person in fact he was an important part of our village as he gives good fortune for centuries"
"Semya even if he's real it's still hard to believe he lived for so many centuries"
"Well it actually shows a lot. You see where a few moons await, it means a full moon would show the first part on the map"
"Captain Moed can really gather that information from only a few words"
"That's just how our Captain works. With little or more words Captain Moed can find the answers just by listening or reading"
"Incredible" then Captain Moed grabs the map and puts it away "now all we need to do is wait until a full moon appears. Might as well hold up here if the chief thinks it's okay"
The chief then bowed before him "it will be our pleasure. Besides tomorrow night will be the two hundredth anniversary for our village"
"Oh great happy Erpath day" Semya sighed
"Hey Semya, is something the matter?" Luughead asked
"Oh nothing, it's just an anniversary for our thriving village. Hey chief who's going to be giving the speech"
Chief Mazof smiled and pointed at someone, surprising them almost "you are Semya, you will be the village representative for the speech"
Semya's eyes widened in shock "what!? Why me?"
"Semya you're still a part of our community, it's only right for someone like you, renowned shall give the speech for our village"
"but everyone hates"
But he was interrupted by the chief "it's only because of your arm, but still you should be the village representative"
"Well look at that Stowaway. From a stowaway to a speaker" Sally smacks Semya on the back as she laughs.
"Sounds like we're here to stay for much longer" Captain Moed chuckled.
"Well then I suppose I should get started… I guess"
Semya then leaves the others and tries to head back onto the ship he notices everyone staring at him but Semya has been used to it for so long it's just a daily thing for him. Semya was about to move forward, but saw Narrow at a herbalist shop, he wanted to talk to him first "hey Narrow what are you doing here?" he waved at him.
"I heard that we'll be staying here for a while, I might as well use my time wisely"
"Word travel is fast"
"And what are you doing Semya?"
"Today is our two-hundredth anniversary of Erpath. And I am the speaker for the village representative"
Narrow was amazed and glad for Semya "amazing Semya, well best of luck for you. You've got a plan"
Semya sighed "I'm trying to think of something for our speech, but most of the past speakers only talked about how we praised the Dragon Keeper, and the hardships of our island"
"But won't you do the same?"
"No, not really. After all, I'm the most hated person on this island, they would probably just ignore my speech" and as the bird flies above them Semya suddenly needs to be somewhere "Narrow I need to go, there is somewhere I need to go"
"Alright see you later Semya".
Semya heading towards the forest father away from the village and climbing towards the top of the waterfall Semya then goes to an old hut that is mostly broken, yet still livable, heading towards inside the old hut as the interior of the hut still have some old wooden tables, chairs, and even a bag. Semya grabs a written scroll from the bag that has bad handwriting on it but on the bottom of the scroll it displayed a name "a scroll of my life, written by Semya Murphy as to hope you have a better life"
The sight seeing a familiar object that he personally wrote gave him nothing but a feeling of dread and anguish since getting back to the island, a place that was once his home. "How miserable my life must have been if Founders Seek hadn't found me," he wondered. But he had stopped living in the past a long time ago, and this scroll he wrote meant nothing to him anymore.
Semya then sheds a tear from his eye, before wiping it off and leaving the scroll onto the wooden floor and heads outside and heads towards side of the hut there was a grave nearby 'Merry Murphy' it said on the grave, after setting his sight on the grave, Semya couldn't help it but cry as he falls to his knees "I am so sorry mother, I wish I was strong enough to heal you"
As Semya knows in some moments of his life, he was still living in the past where he felt most vulnerable, while he was weeping his tears he sensed someone behind him, and it was Zeal The Dragon Keeper "you do have impeccable timing Zeal" he stopped and wiped his tears off his face.
"I knew you were coming here"
Semya nodded "today is the anniversary as we celebrate what happened here in Erpath" "yes the anniversary where they speak of me. Yes I know, and I've heard that you will be the representative for your village" "yeah but it is something I did not earned" "everyone has a role, doesn't matter where you're wanted or not. But always have a place anywhere"
Hearing the wise words from the Dragon Keeper, made Semya more courageous and got up to look towards Zeal. But as he turns Zeal is nowhere to be found "thank you" still giving gratitude to Zeal even not present as Semya then heads back to the village ready to become his village representative.
