As Semya and Sally are falling from afar Semya tries to grab on to the wall but its too smooth to get a hold of "you think your special arm can do anything"
"At least I'm trying what about you"
"Are you talking back to me Stowaway?"
Suddenly they then finally landed as they suddenly also began to slide "water?" As they then slide deeper below the ruins, as Semya tries to activate his dragon markings but then they suddenly stop sliding, and they begin to fall again. But this time they fell into a pool of water, quickly they swam up towards the surface to find land but Semya was struggling to swim upwards until he was grabbed by Sally and they both swam up towards the surface where they quickly got back towards land coughing a bit of water from their mouths.
"Sally thank you, for helping me"
"Yeah, shut it Stowaway, I only did it because the Captain cared about you. As he does for everyone he cares for like family" Semya chuckles a bit.
"Listen if you ever tell anyone I was nice to you. I'll make your training even harder"
"Fine by me"
They look around to find themselves in an underground cave while light is shown from above and towards whence they came from.
A canal pouring water like a waterfall "you think the others are coming for us?"
"Perhaps but we're too deep down in this blasted ruin to think they can't risk themselves also getting stuck like we are right now" as Sally, and Semya are attempting to dry their clothes the best they can, something happens within Semya as he looks towards the back of his palm as the dragon marking appears.
"Finally, about time you show up"
"What was that Stowaway"
"Don't worry Sally. I'm about to try something you won't believe."
Semya walks towards the pool of water and raises his arm towards the water as it starts to create more waves and once he raises his hand a little higher the wave then becomes more rapid.
"What the flint? Semya since when can you convert the sea to waves"
"To be honest since yesterday"
"Well can you form something from the water to get us out of here"
"I'll try" Semya tries to form something from the water, however Semya can only make the waves move faster or slower and this takes a toll on him and slowly loses his energy.
"Not putting up a good fight against the water"
"I just started to learn these new abilities. And you can't say I am proficient yet" Semya suddenly lowers his arm and the waves stop moving as he now sits down to rest his energy.
"You using that gift takes a toll on you but I didn't expect this much"
"I told you I just got it."
Then Sally sits on a log "you know Semya… to be honest during the early days when I first met the crew, I was always the one opposing with everyone. Including the Captain" Semya looks at Sally with a confused face, she stiffened at the sight, but scoffs "don't give me that look that should've been expected. That was mostly due to my royal bloodline to the Vixen's family tree"
"royal bloodline what does that mean?"
Sally raised an eyebrow "Man, you need to learn more about history. But anyways my family tree contains legendary captains from hundreds of years ago"
"Legendary captains?"
She nodded "Basically Captains with the best leadership known to man. And my great grandmother Dani was one of them"
"Your family sounds amazing"
Sally stayed silent for a moment "it was… only for a few years, but something didn't settle for me. Being in a rich household my siblings and I were mostly contending with harsh lessons and obscure swordsmanship training"
"Wait, you've had everything you wanted, why did you want to throw everything away?"
Sally grips her pants tighter, her eyebrows twitching with discomfort "living in a home with everyone thinking it's their privilege to be better than everyone. The history books I read say that my ancestors had great honour and were well respected. And my whole family are just using my ancestors heritage to not only take advantage of others but a benefit to themselves, because my great grandfather was a blood caster"
"Wait you mean magic still exists back then"
"apparently"
Sally picks up a rock and throws it in the water. But suddenly the pool of water suddenly reacts differently as it emits a bright glow, and getting the attention of Semya and Sally.
"Sally, did you see that?"
"Of course I did Stowaway. Let me try that again" Sally grabs another rock and throws it towards the glowing pool of water but it stays the same. Then Sally grabbed a bigger rock and throws it towards the pool of water again and still nothing happened. "nothings working"
Semya stepped forward "let me try" using his claw Semya grabbed a giant rock that is the size of his whole arm and chucks it towards the pool of water creating a huge splash of water and the water begins to glow even brighter than before the two were glad by this encounter. However as the pool of water glows brighter it begins to throw the rocks Sally and Semya had thrown as someone jumps out of the water catching them both by surprise before landing behind them as this person has the appearance of a fish like person.
