Alessandro frowned, caught off guard.
"What are you—"
She stepped back from him abruptly, her hands coming up as if she were shielding herself.
"Have you no shame?" she continued, her voice trembling now as tears filled her eyes. "I'm your stepmother!"
That was when he turned around to see why the hell she was putting on this act and that was when he froze in shock.
Elena stood a short distance away, just down the hallway, her expression filled with shock and anger as her gaze moved between them.
Understanding came instantly.
Alessandro's eyes narrowed slightly as he looked back at Bianca.
So that was her game!
Elena didn't hesitate.
She ran toward them quickly, her steps sharp, her expression hardening with every second.
"What is going on?" she demanded, her voice tight with anger as she stopped in front of them. "What did you do to her Alessandro?"
Bianca let out a soft, broken sound, stepping back again as if frightened.
