Chapter 48. Cry! Cry, all of you!
The atmosphere in the abandoned classroom had frozen to a freezing point.
The surroundings were so quiet you could hear a pin drop; the only jarring sound was Raphael's heavy breathing.
Lynn didn't seem angry. He lightly ran his fingers along the shaft of his wand, staring expressionlessly at Raphael's bloodshot eyes.
"So, these are all your true thoughts, senior?"
Raphael didn't know why he had suddenly blurted out his innermost thoughts.
But since things had come to this, he naturally wouldn't back down in the face of Lynn's question.
"Yeah, that's right. You didn't really think I was being polite to you before because I admired you, did you? Heh, don't dream. Do you even deserve that?" "
Raphael, what's wrong with you? Stop talking..." His roommate felt Raphael was acting very strangely today, grabbing his arm, trying to pull him away.
Lynn silently nodded, as if he had no objection to Raphael, as if he wanted to weakly accept everything.
Raphael glanced at him with a mocking smile, and following his roommates' pull, he didn't resist, just as they were about to drag him away.
But the next second, Lynn suddenly swung his wand!
"Legs Freeze!"
A bright red beam of light struck the unsuspecting Raphael without any deviation!
At the same time, Lynn's movements didn't stop; he quickly aimed his wand at Raphael's two roommates.
"Petrify!"
Two consecutive Petrify Charms hit them almost simultaneously!
With his legs bound, Raphael, powerless and lying on the ground, frantically tried to pull out his wand, but Lynn clearly wouldn't give him a chance to cast a spell.
"Tongue Lock."
Raphael lost the ability to speak, but Lynn didn't give him any chance to resist, quickly stepping forward and kicking the wand out of his hand.
He grabbed Raphael by the collar with one hand, forcefully shoving him to the ground. With his other hand, he clenched into a fist and punched Raphael's face without hesitation!
"Do you know why I didn't petrify you? Because then you wouldn't be able to move. Even if I beat you hard, if you can't struggle, I won't get excited."
Lynn had obsessive-compulsive tendencies. He felt that Raphael's face looked disproportionate with only half swollen, so as he spoke, he punched the other half of Raphael's face!
Raphael's legs were bound, and he could only use his upper body, but Lynn's strength was extraordinary. He struggled desperately but couldn't resist an inch.
"Yes, that's right, you have noble blood! And so what? You hit me? Come on! Can you fight back now?"
Raphael's face had taken two punches from Lynn, and now it was swollen like a pig's head, with scarlet blood flowing from his nose and mouth, making him look extremely miserable.
Lynn squinted at Raphael, who was constantly groaning in pain.
"I might be of lowly blood in your eyes, maybe even a vermin, but I'm a first-year student and you're a sixth. You've studied magic for five years longer than me, yet I can only beat you to a pulp. Doesn't that feel frustrating? Doesn't it make you want to cry?"
With that, Lynn raised his wand again, smiling as he declared he had a brilliant idea.
"How about we play a game? From now on, I'll give you five seconds each time. I'll count down from five. If you don't cry within those five seconds, I'll randomly reward you with a dark spell. Let me give you a heads-up: I've mastered about seventeen dark spells. That means if you can last two minutes, I'll consider it a failure, and I'll let you go. How about that? Isn't it a great game?"
Raphael gritted his teeth, glaring fiercely at Lynn.
He didn't believe Lynn at all. A Mudblood who had only been in school for half a semester, even with high talent, couldn't possibly have learned so many dark spells.
And even if he had the ability, who could teach him?
Raphael took Lynn's words as a bluff, and even now he didn't believe Lynn could do anything to him.
He admitted that the first-year wizard had easily taken down the three of them, but that was because they were all careless.
If they had been on guard, Lynn wouldn't have been able to defeat any of them!
He was currently suffering some physical pain, but could Lynn kill him?
He was a Slytherin prefect, the eldest son of a pure-blood family, and he had power, influence, and connections.
What does Lynn have?
After this, he'll show Lynn what it means to wish he were dead!
Lynn blinked: "You seem a little skeptical. Well, then we won't wait five seconds for the first spell; I'll give you one first."
"Front teeth like giant clubs."
The first spell didn't cause Raphael any pain, but he could clearly feel his front teeth growing longer until they protruded from his mouth.
Raphael remained defiant; he didn't think there would be any more.
"Five, four, three, two, one, OK, I admire your courage, I'm itching unbearably."
Raphael felt itchy all over, but his hands and feet were controlled by Lynn, so he couldn't scratch.
He started to panic.
Another five seconds passed.
"I hope you can play with me a little longer; it's burning hot."
This time, Raphael's entire body was covered in dense bumps, enough to trigger trypophobia.
Raphael's resolve began to waver; he desperately realized that Lynn didn't seem to be lying to him.
Five seconds later.
"Horns grow on your head."
A pair of curved ram horns sprouted from Raphael's head.
He dared not confront Lynn any further, and even his eyes showed pleading.
Another five seconds passed.
"If you don't cry, I, Lynn, will acknowledge you as the strongest, so I'll reward you with a shaving spell."
Another spell was cast, and Raphael's hair disappeared, leaving only two lonely horns on his shiny head.
Raphael finally couldn't take it anymore. He broke down and sobbed uncontrollably, tears streaming from his eyes, mixing with snot and blood, making him look extremely pitiful.
Lynn clicked his tongue and shook his head.
"I thought you were a man, but you cried so quickly. How boring."
He kept his promise, let Raphael go, stood up, and sincerely apologized to Raphael's two roommates.
"I'm sorry, I can't break the spell for you right now. I'm really sorry to have involved you two. I hope you can understand."
Raphael's two roommates didn't even have the courage to look Lynn in the eye; they were terrified by his earlier performance.
Lynn ignored Raphael, who was lying on the ground like a dead dog. His anger had mostly subsided, and he could now go to the auditorium for dinner.
Objectively speaking, Lynn also bore some responsibility for this. If it weren't for his system title influencing Raphael, he might not have uttered such foul language.
But then again, if Raphael didn't have these thoughts in the first place, how could he be affected by the system title's effect?
For example, his two roommates weren't affected at all.
Therefore, Lynn felt no pressure in taking drastic measures.
Originally, everyone was keeping to themselves, but now that you're riding on my head and pointing your finger at me while cursing, Lynn didn't think he had the good temper to hold back.
