Even though it was possible for Quinn or Vorden to use their abilities to try to come back, there was an unspoken sense that the cave entrance closing was a sign to keep it secret. Arthur himself likely destroyed them to ensure that the remnants of the Punisher settlement would stay hidden.

Immediately, everyone turned around to find a group of travelers all staring at the now closed off cave entrance.
"We leave for a few minutes, and come back to the entrance blocked?" A bald headed man said.
"I'm sure there's another entrance around," the younger man said of the group.
